Every Public Transit Stop in Prague

There you have it, every public transit stop in Prague.

This is the last stop that actually appears on the schedule, but I’d remembered another service stop in quite a strange place that I passed by on a bus a couple of weeks ago. (It’s for buses coming through to the other side of this one in the early morning, I believe.) I had a couple of minutes to spare, so I walked around to find it.

I was hoping this would be the last stop, but I’ve caught one more in my final check, so I’ll have to go there tomorrow.

Here’s another stop for the 137 that was placed on a side street. Last time I even went to a temporary stop here, but that too seems to have been moved down the road.

This time, getting to it from the metro was tricky because the street leading up to it and the stairs leading down to the street were completely closed off, and I had to take a fairly substantial detour.

The 164 was extended to replace the 257, which presumably was eliminated to make room for the new school lines. As a result, this bus turns in a different place, necessitating this new stop away from the others. The street has the same name, but takes a right turn between the two stops.

Now that I was most of the way to the main terminals in the airport, I was able to hop onto a bus going back into the other direction. I was planning to go over to the next stop, but I wanted to make sure that I didn’t miss something at an earlier stop, so the additional rerouting added probably an hour or so to my trip. Fortunately, I ended up being on time for my evening event.

This is Terminal 3. The map didn’t really show this as a separate stop, so I’m glad I got off to make sure.

I follow Prague Integrated Transport on Facebook, and they recently had a severe post expressing their dissatisfaction with how the Kladno buses were being run since integration and warned that the situation had to improve or else remedies would be pursued. The deadline, I believe, is tomorrow. Something about them not having enough drivers.

This stop is here temporarily due to road work (and thus doesn’t even have a name), but the previous one was completely removed. I imagine they’re going to combine them into one stop once the road work is complete.

While I passed through here picking up the new Kladno District stops, I also found this one, moved due to road work.

Here’s a bit of an awkward case. As you may know by now, stops for buses within the Prague Integrated Transport system are red, while others are blue. This one is included because buses that go to the newly integrated Kladno District still stop here. Unlike at Nádraží Veleslavín, though, they haven’t changed or repainted the stop yet, or moved the Kladno buses away from other ones that have yet to be integrated. I imagine this is a temporary situation, but I wonder how long it’s going to last.

Now that the school year is starting up again and construction on this street is complete, the stop has been put back in place. I’m glad I could catch it in time.
