Caretaker of a Crazy Catahoola, 4 needie kitties and 70 plus grown men who need to work on their paperwork skills. Sometimes it's the little things that define the big things

The snide remarks, the huffing, the sarcasm

Over time it adds up

And I don't like keeping track

But the weight in my heart is heavy

And some things can't be washed away or undone

And it hurts

I'm torn,

Conflicted

Hurt

A rather large mess of confusion

I can't go on like this

But I don't know how

To break away

Messy

It's always so messy

In my head

My heart

My reality

You did it again

Fucked with my mind

Once again you said something that stuck in my head and left me in a swirl of confusion and chaos.

Why,

Why do you frustrate me so

Stir up such a swirl of emotion

That sparkle in your eye makes me yearn for more

But the gazelle inside me has already taken off at lightning speed.

Confliction tears from within

And I'm lost in a cloud of dust.

In the swirl of chaos between stacks of papers and a sea of faces in meetings, yours stand out. You catch my eye with a hint of mischievousness and I have to look away. You bring something out in me, I usually keep hidden. Laughter and banter comes easy and it's a refreshing state of events.

Im conflicted about where I am, who I am, what I am.

I feel stuck in place

I want to move forward at a faster pace

But the weight of all the decisions I've made is so heavy

And the options of decisions to make are even heavier

I haven’t written in a long time. That is not usually a good thing in my world. Things have been hard. .. Different. Difficult. Unexpected... New things are coming soon.. change is coming.. I can almost taste them, if only I can make it a bit longer.
