You know the villagers were not only wrong for treating naruto the way they did, but also dumb as hell for it. If any asshole knew who naruto was and could sneak their way in, they easily could’ve shown him any bit of affection and effectively lured him away from the village, all because nobody could spare a bit of time or love for a lonely orphan with a burden he never asked for
