we move to an apartment that we love, in a city we want to put roots in. as we clean and unpack, i listen to you daydream about the nesting we will do here. the tapestries and wallpapers we will hang, the rugs we wil buy, the booksheves we will put together. we know this home isn’t forever - we fully intend to outgrow it - but it will be a home, and not just a place to live. we will settle into it’s warmth and it’s stability. here, we will finally plant the roots we need to grow.
