 How did you come to join the GO-Events Server?
I followed an author over from AO3 to tumblr, because I really enjoyed the content they were posting and wondered if there might be more there. When perusing their posts, I saw an interview they had done for some 'Rom-Com event'. I read it, was intrigued, and then it promptly kind of fell from my mind as I kept scrolling. Cue several weeks later when I was again on Tumblr and saw sign-ups were closing for a different event from the same blog. At that point, I don't think I had quite finished the book, or started the series, but had been reading a lot of fic. I decided I liked what I knew about GO so far and took the plunge of signing up to write for a new fandom. I joined the discord and the rest has been a whirlwind of amazingness! I am so glad I took that plunge!
 What do you enjoy about the GO-Events Server?
The people! It's so cool to meet and chat with other people who love something to the point of creating new content for it, the same as you. Even if conversations veer from what brought us together, and onto things you never thought you'd be discussing. Everyone in the server is kind, and funny, and so smart! The energy of support and encouragement is astounding, and I'm not sure I've felt this creative or had so many wips in years! The friends I've made in this server hold such a special place in my heart, and I am so glad to be a part of something so special.
 What's been your favorite of the GO Events so far, and why?
The AU event! It's the event that got me into the fandom and the GO Events server. If I hadn't taken the plunge and signed up for it (at the time still not having seen the series), I would have never met all of the wonderful people in the server, so many friends.
 Do you have a favorite of bisasterdi's fics? Which one is it, and why?
It's hard to pick, but I think Two Middle Aged (Presenting) Hobbyists Just Trying to Get Along is my favorite! It combines two things I have also done and enjoy (glass blowing and escape rooms) and is overall so sweet! It's gorgeous in its descriptions, and takes me back to my own experiences. The trials of working with glass, the adrenaline of getting out of a locked room with only an hour! She nails each of them completely. It is also a very spicy fic, and rather hot! And the overwhelming love that goes with that brings everything together perfectly and just sends me! 100/10 Beautiful fic!
 Any other comments of appreciation?
I am in awe of everything Bisasterdi does. She maintains this server, she runs events with hundreds of people taking part, she still manages to find the time to write her own fic, and she does all of that on top of having IRL stuff to do! During a global pandemic, no less! If anyone qualifies for superhero status, it has to be Bisasterdi. She is also kind, understanding, and super funny too. Everything she tackles, she does so with such grace and compassion. Simply put, she is incredible! Thanks for all that you do!
