Peter gave her a thumb’s up. “Perhaps. You are particularly blindly radiant today, Eva. Mere mortals such as myself are not fit to stare too long.”

Eva couldn’t help but let out a chuckle, more amused by the comment than flattered. “Oh no --- I’m sorry, I don’t mean to laugh it’s just... well, um, you may be barking up the wrong tree?”

Peter’s grin widened. “Should be easy, since you brighten my day whenever I see you.”

Eva gave another shake of her head, amused more by the jokes she found in the way they communicated than the actual conversation itself. “Maybe I should get you a pair of sunglasses then? Wouldn’t want to blind you.”

“If you look at this section in the textbook it even says how much I don’t care about this class,” Svetlana huffed loudly throwing her head back, the last thing she wanted to do was spend her evening studying in the library.

Eva used her hand as Svetlana spoke, making it look as if it were yapping away as she teasingly mocked her friend for her whining. A chuckle passed her lips once the other had finished, quickly putting her hand back down. “Yes, but you NEED to pass this class, right? It is sort of required.”

“Sorry, I just.” He tapped the side of his head with his quill. “Can’t help it when your smile is like sunshine.”

A chuckle passed her lips, a quick shake of her head following. “Well I do try to look on the bright side all the time.”

His smile only got wider. “Why thank you, I only stare at attractive people anyway, so that works,” he joked before chuckling at his own joke. He held out his hand to her. “I’m Leonard.”

Her smile remained, hand reaching out to meet with his. “Eva.” She responded with a shake, eyes remaining fixed on his. “Lovely to meet you.”

the mixed race student’s lips QUIRKED in a sneer. fabrice sneered at the sixth year gryffindor in a way that made his nose crinkle. he could feel himself hanging onto intense dislike for the blonde-haired witch based on perceived wrongdoing. “ why would i be staring at you? ”

the amusement IMMEDIATELY fell away from her face. she knew this tone, she was FAMILIAR with the tone that laced the male’s words. “i was only teasing, you don’t need to be so moody.” she replied, the remnants of a smile having now faltered and faded.

“I can’t help it!” Leonard argued, defending himself. “You are gorgeous! How am I supposed to not stare?”

A giggle passed the girl’s lips before a smile spread across her face, reaching ear to ear. “Is that what you tell everyone who catches you staring at them? I’ll take it either way --- and besides, you are pretty adorable yourself.”

Point form again because why not?

- First off she’s a werewolf. She was turned once her father found out she existed, a product of a forced one night stand between him and a muggle woman; her mother. She was only five when this happened, and her mother has continued to take care of her since despite her own struggles with her daughters condition and lack of knowledge when it comes to the Wizarding World.

Lana looked at Eva amazed before getting ready to sneak into dorms with her best friend. “I’m ready to go, you have a ton of chocolate? Where did those come from?”

“When don’t I have a ton of chocolate, Karkaroff?” She drew out her friends last name in a teasing manner, smile pulling at the corners of her lips. “I’ll share most of it.”
