So we know Malec will haven an argument at the beginning of 3x06, as a result of all that happend in 3x05. Alec is extremely insecure about this immortality thing, and Magnus maybe even more so.

In 3x05 Magnus tried to avoid the subject every time it was brought up, because Magnus is terrified and doesn’t even want to think about Alec being gone. So they’re both on edge and there’s allot of tension, because this is a huge deal! But, all will be well at the end of ep 6. At the beginning of episode 6 they’ll have an argument, which prompts Alec to leave. (Also Magnus looks so upset, help!)

Now in the episode description Magnus teams up with Clary to hunt a demon(Lillith) Magnus and Alec will have some time away from eachother, Magnus maybe even talking to Clary about it(why) Now at some point they’ll end up in the institute.

Now lets take a look at Alec, Alec will probably be getting drunk this episode, so my guess is he’ll go to the hunters moon to get his mind of of things, maybe even talk to someone.  AND NO HE WILL NOT FUCKING CHEAT ON MAGNUS, WHAT IS YALLS PROBLEM, OH MY GOD. Anywho in his intoxicated state he will leave the Huntersmoon and he gets attacked by something.

Alec looks really dishelved and he seems to be in the back of the huntersmoon with the trashcans and stuff(the place where Maia and Jace hooked up) He gets attacked by something thats obviously Lillith related.But he gets away and makes his way to the institute, alerting Izzy and staff on the way.

But Magnus will also hear about it, since he is there. And he starts to freak the fuck out, not only did he just have an argument with Alec and left on “bad” terms, but the reality of losing Alec becomes very very real all of the sudden. 

So Alec enters the institute, and comes face to face with Magnus, who is standing by the entrance and is worried out of his mind. And then we get this. 

(notice Magnus is waring the same jacket as in that shot of them in the institute, and Alec is wearing the same jacket)

I dont know what kind of talk this will prompt or if there will be a change with Alec moving in. But they’re certainly in a good place in ep 3x07 Also Magnus must have been really spooked cuz he is hellbent on not leaving Alec alone.
