Hope this month’s been treating you kindly so far.

I wanted to give a quick heads-up: my household is going through a rough patch and i won't have internet/data for a while. I’m not sure how long I’ll be offline, but I didn’t want to just disappear without saying anything.

So I decided to share what I have so far. It was a bit of a last-minute decision, so please forgive any bugs or typos.

I feel like Lucian would definitely be intrigued by Hamilton. Probably lowkey funding The Revolution somehow lol xd. But all the Ro's are British after all, publicly they gotta stay loyal to the crown xd

it's pretty much like that one scene in Spiderman where he's fighting the lizard in the school and the janitor is listening to music and does not notice the fight happening right behind him.

but instead of that is everyone in the ballroom dancing while music is playing in the background through the windows to the garden you can see MC and their brother fighting and MC's seems to have that Berserker rage in them cause their brother hit them and they are straight up ragdolling him.

Like bro looks like he picked a fight with the Minecraft villages iron golem and he's losing badly, bros about to get the expressway to the pearly gates💀.

Helena won’t let you continue, she hates unnecessary violence. She'll interfere before you go too far.

Elias would be completely freaked out lol, just trying to calm you down. Not because he thinks Nathaniel doesn't deserve it, but to make sure you don’t get hurt.

Lucian...don't let his pov fool you xd

He would absolutely let you go at it. Pleasantly surprised by that side of you, and then deal with cleaning up the mess after xd

On a scale from 1-10, starting from least to most:

Elias: 5/10

Elias just withdraws, he gets hurt easily. But he doesn't even think he has the right to feel jealous in the first place.

Helena: 7/10

She’ll give you the cold shoulder, then randomly drop a passive comment like “you seem to be making new friends” or “maybe you should ask them to help you instead, since you seem so close.” then flush and act like nothing happened.

Lucian: 10/10

For Helena, I can see her writing poetry or teaching literature. Maybe even as a nurse. Anything that lets her create, put her feelings into words, or guide and help others.

For Lucian, something where he can use his voice, persuasion and analysis. He’d make an incredible lawyer. Maybe even a detective, since he has the patience (and the stubbornness) to chase the truth. But definitely not politics; he’d lose his mind surrounded by that much dishonesty.

And for everyone’s clarity: yes, there will be moments in the story where people will react to a black mc.

You’ll see it chapter two, but it’s not going to be the focal point of the whole story. It’s just not the direction I have in mind or one i feel comfortable writing.

Also, sorry for the silence 😭 These days school has been chewing me up (I had four exams in a row last Friday, my brain is melting lol) and whenever I get free time I just work on Chapter 2. I’m on a streak and I don’t wanna break it lol.

Lucian: Oh, absolutely. He’d take pleasure in it, though he’d make it very clear you have nothing to worry about. If he’s angry with you, though? He’ll let someone else flirt just long enough to watch you squirm.

Elias: He wouldn’t even notice at first. He’d think you were upset about something entirely different until you finally sit him down and tell him. Then he’d look so heartbroken and apologetic it’s almost funny 😭

Hahaha this was such a fun one to imagine xd

Lady Waverly She’d act calm for about ten seconds before going full “restoration mode.” The house gets refurbished, new gowns ordered, and suddenly every influential family in Mayfair is receiving invitations to her “small gatherings” so she can show off.

Lord Waverly He’d quietly set some aside for the staff, pay some debts, try to invest the rest sensibly, railway shares, maybe. He wouldn’t tell anyone, not even his wife, until it inevitably slipped during dinner… or she found out while going through his stuff. In the end, he’d have to reluctantly hand over whatever’s left to her.

Aunt Eugenia Instantly suspicious. “Money never comes without a price.” She’d stash half in a locked drawer, donate a little to the church just in case it’s cursed. Then buy herself a cozy little house far away from Mayfair, with the rest.

Clara She’d buy books. Buy desserts, dress and toys. Then a pony she doesn’t even know how to ride. Some of it would go to charity because she’d feel guilty about the pony.

Nathaniel I think we all know how this one goes 😭 He’d burn through it in a year (two if we’re being generous). Cards, horses, “business ventures” that never quite materialize, and somehow, he’d still end up owing more than he started with.

And i almost forgot about Helena xd

Helena She’d freeze at first, not quite believing it’s real. Then she’d make a list, and another list, and probably a third one labeled “realistic expenses.”

Half would go straight to securing her independence: a small cottage, maybe a shop, something hers that no one could take away.

And then, quietly, she’d buy little things she’s always denied herself. Simple comforts.

She wouldn’t brag. She wouldn’t even tell you until much later. But you will notice the calm in her eyes, the kind that comes from finally being safe.

I actually use VS Code with the ChoiceScript Language extension. it’s been a total lifesaver. It lets you Quicktest your game to catch coding errors, run it in the app, code completion, format and italicize text easily, and just makes everything smoother and easy.

Honestly, this story wouldn’t exist without it because I hate coding so much😂

Also, I hate how mom won't let me choose my own dress color. I just wanna be an ass and choose my own dress and just let my hair down(i like my hair down lol) and tell her off during the party, lol. I'm wearing the color i choose. But I know my girl is shy and kinda awkward, lol, but sweet.
