Despite the name that Liana gives ( Beausoleil ), Liana is not actually French. It , along with her first && middle name were picked by her own choosing for herself after she was no longer allowed access to heaven , so that she could have a more adaptable human persona. Liana , being a short form of Liliana , the Latinate version of Lillian derived from the latin word lilium , which means " lily " ( which she chose for the flower, the Lily of the Valley that she grows in her garden ) , Grace being chosen for multiple reasons ( the perfected disposition of the soul which allows it to live with God && also the Virgin Mary , among other reasons ) && finally , Beausoleil which translated literally means " beautiful sun " which is the exact image that Liana tries to represent && express.
