“You and me both. If we can hold out a few more months, give them some extra time…then, if they aren’t here, we can resort to magic.”

“Until then I’ll just settle for keeping you to myself.”

“I know that magic is an option. But after everything it’s done, I would rather not resort to it unless we have to.”

“Trust me I would rather avoid magic if I absolutely can. I don’t trust it after everything we’ve gone through with it. But I just want my family.”

“I’m hopeful that if I can find Beverly, Isaac will be with her. I don’t quite know how to locate the others without resorting to magic, but I’m sure I’ll think of something.”

Tatia knew it was true, but that didn’t do much for the regret. “Thank you for not completely resenting me for all of this.” She said quietly, hugging her son.

“Mom I don’t resent you in the slightest,” Ethan promised her holding onto her tightly, “I love you too much for that and I want to finally really truly be a family.”
