Also if you're looking for any queer stories to read over this summer, I want to give another shout out to my sister's book, Fire in Flight! (Links of where to get this book are on our site!) There are several queer themes, but the biggest one is the lead character is asexual (and biromantic!) I've been seeing a lot of biphobia and aphobia on the internet in the big 2026 lately and I can't wrap my head around it. The best thing we can do is keep flying those flags anyway; not out of spite, but out of love for ourselves.

If you resonate more with Yin, you would call them Shilmai. If you resonate more with Yang, you would call them Nidbai. So, which name would you refer to the angel of enlightenment by?

(To me, they would be Shilmai. I've always been drawn more to Yin. ^^)

I'd rather the comic itself explain what it's an allegory for so I'm not going to get into much detail, but in case I have any readers that find darker mental health-related themes difficult to read, I wanted to give a warning before continuing forward.

So we've reached another milestone, but instead of a one-month break I'm only going to take a one week break until continuing with the next part. The reason being, and I say this now, is that I plan on taking a month off from posting in July for Art Fight, and because of that I just didn't see taking a month off now to be necessary. Okay so a quick thing I wanna clarify, it's been a hot minute since the last time these kinds of scenes came up (the pain of posting long-term webcomics), and I don't want readers to get confused.

Essentially, whenever the pages transition to the white borders, this means that this is one of Koka's memory scenes that takes place before the main events of the comic. And reminder that the Sham we see now has no memories of any of these events! If it wasn't obvious before I apologize, just wanted to make that clear now.

ALSO I don't usually get to into detail behind the creative process of making the comic (I'd rather save that for the end honestly), but in this case I wanted to explain why I chose their human forms for theses scenes, even though this is primarily an animal-based comic (I apologize if you are a xenofic enjoyer who does not like humans in their comics, but unfortunately this is my story to tell and my characters to use lol)

1) Sham didn't have her rabbit form yet. 2) Simply I just wanted to avoid confusion between showing scenes from the past and present. So, human forms = past, animal forms = present, and true/angel forms will represent both at some point!
