I was listening to the Jolly playlist on the way home from LA tonight and this song came on. This was one of my first favorite EDM songs back in 2012 when the genre was making its way into mainstream music. To this day, I still don’t really get why you found it so funny when I mentioned this remix to you, @samlet ...LOL. But I did have a nice little chuckle when I saw that you added this into the playlist. Anyway, you’re probably one of the few who still peruses the somewhat now obsolete tumblr, so I figure it’s fine - maybe even appropriate in some ways - to write this to you here:
It’s been real, Sam. Our college days of gchattin’ it up were good ol’ times, much to Jo Tan’s horror LOLL. Of couse, we’ve certainly had our moments of annoyance and anger towards each other but we’ve always managed to resolve things pretty quickly...something that’s perhaps a real testament to our friendship. I know post-college years have changed some things, but this remains true: I can’t really say I’ve had many close guy friends in my life, but I will definitely always count you as one of them. Hope norcal treats you well (but not TOO well since LA is still the freakin’ best) and now that you’re a hot shot laywer, I hope you’ll accomplish great feats with all your knowledge and skills! And so, yet another Jolly member leaves LA and our adventures, if any, won’t be the same without you. You’ll always be the #1 hype man of the crew, hands down. Take care, Sam.
