Tressa nods in understanding, and can't help but feel like she's maybe overstepped a little bit. She stares at her own fingers, and the momentary look of surprise on Estela's face at the move. She wonders, again, if maybe she shouldn't have done that, but she's so pretty, and for the first time in a long time, Tressa's feeling a draw to another person that's more than just curiosity or intrigue. Tressa notes to check into Everett, and then amends it in her head- Check in on the covens. She needs to be building these bridges and lines of sight if she's going to fulfill her end of the bargain with Cordelia
"I wasn't talking about magic." She says, and she's pretty sure her cheeks are flushiing with stolen blood as she says it. "-Sorry, I just... I think you are very very pretty tonight. Not that you're never not pretty. Beautiful, I guess. Pretty sounds so childish. You're very beautiful."
Estela blinks. Because, yeah, she is surprised. With Tressa, she doesn't exactly expect that sort of affection, she expects her to be distant and off-putting. That's exactly what she likes about her, has always liked about her.
So her eyebrows raise up in surprise and she feels her own cheeks heating up at the compliment. "Thank you, Tressa." She means it so sincerely. Lifting her hands, she cups Tressa's cheeks and pulls her in for a quick kiss to the lips - maybe to stop her from rambling more, maybe to just show affection.
"You're also beautiful. I'll be fine, it's just quite a lot all at once."
