“Aha! A Pokemon I am keenly familiar with! Talonflame is a Pokemon native to Kalos, and our regional bird. Like Charizard, it sports the rare Fire/Flying type combination, and soars past the competition. Then again, I might be biased.

“Talonflame’s greatest strength lies in its astounding speed, which lets it fly circles around most opponents. While most Talonflames have the ability Flame Body, some, like my own, instead have a unique ability called Gale Wings, causing Flying-type attacks to hit even quicker.

“Talonflame utilizes speed and physical attacks, such as Brave Bird, Acrobatics, or Flare Blitz, to sweep in and knock out opponents as quickly as possible. It can also sport moves like Swords Dance and Roost to stay strong and in the game.

“While a decent physical attacker, Talonflame’s defenses leave a good bit to be desired. In particular, a Rock-type attack can knock it out of the sky with ease, so be careful with that.

“Talonflame is a Pokemon that will likely be removed sooner or later, so one should make the most of their offenses and speed by giving them items such as Sharp Beaks, Life Orbs, or Flying Gems.”
