Okay here is my main criticism of twilight over all. Meyer didn’t know how to write Edward as a compelling love interest right. So she just made every other guy around Bella SUCK. And then when Jacob started to become more prominent I think she realized that oh shit Jacob might actually be a better love interest??? But of course she couldn’t have that, so that’s why Jacobs ‘shift’ happened. i think that that instead of going back and rewriting Jacobs character to make him less likeable she was lazy and just made him do a 180 and be predatory and possessive and fucking assault Bella. Either that or Meyer legit thought that was romance and she needs some hard therapy

No because this is so true. Smeyer knew people would all be team Jacob if she didn’t find a way to brutalize his character.

regular, boring, probably straight people think the twilight movies suck because they don’t watch them correctly. they watch them as a drama when they are very obviously a comedy. the fact edward googles immortalicum is literally all the proof u need they are a COMEDY
