I kinda like to watch different dubs of movies that caught my eye and for example with 2001: A Space Odyssey there’s quite an interesting moment that in some dubs Hal is being made to sound more human yknow, at least for my opinion. Maybe it's just the specific of the language itself that dub voice actor didn’t make too much of a monotonic voice, still I think it adds some charm to the "soulless machine". The scene after chess game is also a good example of emotional complexity of the AI.

Russian dub has minimum of differences if any at all
