Same As It Ever Was

File this one under “Dream come true”: I found this Brand New copy of The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening at the Centerville Goodwill in Virginia. It was priced at their DVD/Game price of $3.25. I had a 20% off coupon, so I actually only paid $2.60. I found it in the CD section. I walked around the store like a zombie after finding it. I was waiting on my fiancee who I was shopping with, so I picked out a couple of DVDs to buy so I could sandwich the box between the DVDs so I didn’t have to touch the plastic. I’ve had plenty of dreams before where I would find this kind of holy grail at a thrift store, so I was in a surreal world after I found it. After I got home I ordered an acrylic casing for it and I will be holding on to it for a while. I’m pretty sure the value will only go up as time goes by, so I might as well display it on a shelf for now.
