My Sims theory is that when time-travel shenanigans created the Sims 4 alternate universe, what it actually did was merge the main Sims timeline with the Urbz + MySims timelines. Hence the inclusion of characters from each series. Basically, the universe tried to condense these 3 concurrent timelines into one, leading to all sorts of strange side effects (weird aging, odd worlds, etc.)

It’s so weird when people die young—especially if it’s sudden. Like I went to a concert with you last month, you paid for my soda, you cheered so loudly when your favorite artist went on stage. You seemed so excited for the future, one that you’ll never see. Gosh. It really is so unjust.
