In love with Line Movement lies with it, even as it cries out for her attention. Together, Movement and Line twist and tryst, as in love duet. Stasis stands still, and watches, fearful, it won’t survive the night.

But Movement’s delight, is to keep things alive, even as they conspire to align with, or divide each other. And so, Movement keeps Stasis around, to keep the knots tied, and things, intact, so they can rebound.

Stasis will stay, at least, for another day. Movement and Line in motion, the source of all emotion, rise and reign supreme, denying satisfaction and satiation to none, but parted lovers.

Stasis stays, to await its day, treasuring the severed parts it holds - alliances and hearts, severed and sore, sore and separate.

Take one step back from porn, and watch desire form. It is born in skin, and borne into gatherings, where mind meets matter, and gets fleshed out, then, mired in flesh.

Flushed and perspiring, hormones are inspired to join the fray, and everyone rushes to greet the band, hurriedly and temporarily named, Temporality Meets Eternity.

The band plays to a grandstand filled by deep romances and one night stands, which fills and empties, empties and fills, all at once, and one by one.

As one body, they sing, in many voices, each sings alone.

Where does desire go when unsummoned and unmourned? It remains in hidden places, where it moves and moans, pulsing through skin like a radar beam, awaiting the moment it will appear on screen.

Not merely implied, it won’t be denied, potency bursts all restraints.

Her flogging in progress, her insides trembling, is she strong enough to make weakness her waking vision?

As her body is wracked with pain, the action ratchets up, and she screams. Will the pain, that is her satisfaction, dissolve into dissonance,   as her beauty, beaten out, glistens and shines?

Can she shimmer past her pain, her sweat, her smells, toward something finer?

Afterward: Perfumed by her preferences, her bruises still healing, she feels perfected by her wounds. Her screams of pain, were screams of satisfaction found, even as her body, bound, got lost, forgotten and abandoned, too soon too late too bad.
