there’s a couple of neat tricks to nail this style in blender, and i’ll break down my method for you:

in the render panel, make sure your render resolution is super low! i have mine set to 250x250, and i resize the frames to 500x500 in photoshop for the GIF.

this one’s important too, under “film” in the render panel, make sure the pixel filter type is set to “gaussian” and the width to 0.01. that way you get nice crispy pixels in your render. otherwise it’s gonna be blurry.

last but not least, make sure all your textures use “closest” interpolation so your low resolution textures aren’t blurry as well!
