I always like to run some print tests before I submit my final design. After my last experience with the printer and I decided to do some research and found a great article on how to prepare a design for CMYK printing

I have found a great video made by the team of Nile that explains the value of Service Design to business.
THIS IS SERVICE DESIGN THINKING - Book TrailerÂ
“This is Service Design Thinking introduces an inter-disciplinary approach to designing services. Service design is a bit of a buzzword these days and has gained a lot of interest from various fields. This book, assembled to describe and illustrate the emerging field of service design, was brought together using exactly the same co-creative and user-centred approaches you can read and learn about inside. The boundaries between products and services are blurring and it is time for a different way of thinking: this is service design thinking.”
Inspired by this animation. Great video!
A brief refresher/summary video of what Team Super Duper Pterodactyl has been working on all quarter. We were focused on the task of creating new buyer-based experiences for local college students. We presented our final concepts to Goodwill on Wednesday, to very positive reactions.Â

Our team met at the library to begin Desktop Research, identify societal challenges, members of the ecosystem, constraints and key needs and jobs. Later we created a stakeholder map, service encounters and service package.
This past Monday, our Service Architectures, Touchpoints & Ecologies class held their 3rd Co-Creation session, with our client, Goodwill. The goal of the day’s session was to evaluate the Team’s current concepts for the clients, based on a Design Matrix that Team 1 developed. The evaluation took most of the hour and a half time session, and could even have taken more! But due to the busy schedules of all, the session had to be cut short- an odd bit of luck, since it allowed Team 1 to condense a few of their too-similar concepts into one, and evaluate it from there. Overall, the Co-Creation was a success! One more to go, in which both teams will be updating & proposing, and getting feedback from Goodwill about their chosen concepts.
After finalizing the KRI's , KPI's and Service Recovery measurements we worked on the layout of the dashboard. We looked into the hierarchy of the measures and how to best display the information to make paper prototypes.
After gathering insights from Co-Creation #4 we finalized our ideas and organized layout for presentation. This is a preview of the project logo, branding and final presentation for Goodwill.

Phone interview with the Chief I Information Technology at CHEP. We discussed our findings to make sure we have the right Critical Success Factors, Key Performance Indicators and Key Result Indicators in order to continue developing the dashboards.
The purpose of the 4th co-creation was to present the ideas and get feedback from Goodwill. We rated the ideas by identifying pros and cons and later discussed next steps in our process.
Intense hours of mapping the service blueprint. In the process of understanding one of the biggest pallet pooling company, CHEP
The purpose of the visit to Goodwill was to do some field research and gain better understanding about their drop-off service and overall internal process.

How can we improve the ADC experience while incorporating a novel experience for Goodwill?Â
To visualize the service that Goodwill provides we made a Service Delivery System which shows the donor experience as well as Service Package.Â

Our goal is to partner with a local non-profit that has a service problem. In the past we have worked with the City of Savannah’s After School Program, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Humane Society.

SERV 325 Spring 2013 is all about technology-fueled services!
SERV 325 introduces the world of information technology and business-driven information systems to undergraduate service design students at SCAD. Among other things, students explore the potential impact of new/emerging technologies - such as object recognition, 3D printing and the Internet of things - on the production and delivery of services in specific service sectors. This ten-week course is part of the B.F.A. service design program at SCAD.
