I just started harvesting some of my corn and received 7/12 pounds from 21 ears of corn. I have also been continuing to harvest my cherry tomatoes which have been quite large this season. There are still plenty more tomato harvests and some more corn harvests to come.
I have been picking my cucumbers for the past couple of weeks and just started harvesting all my onions both yellow and red.
I have been harvesting strawberries for over a month. I have picked over thirty pounds of these delicious berries and still have more to go. The season is starting to wind down with only just a few pounds that are left.
Where has the time gone. Winter is about over and the springtime is upon us along with a new gardening season. For now I have started planting indoors with mostly flowers of alyssum, dill, and some wildflowers.

Finished digging up potatoes and the only plants left are peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, broccoli, kale, and pumpkins which will be harvested soon. I also planted peas which I am hoping will sprout soon and have them for a fall crop.
This week I decided it was time to finally harvest the last of my corn. This corn is called Silver Queen and is an all white type of corn that I planted this season. Although it is all white it still has a great flavor just like all other types of corn I have grown.
This month I harvest both my first eggplant and one large head of broccoli.Â
It was a good time to continue picking cucumbers and start harvesting some of my corn.
My kale plants are still alive and well continuing produce leaves even though the weather is quite warm for them. At the same time I am beginning to pick cucumbers and soon some zucchini.

It is now the month of June and my strawberries have started ripening and it was time to start harvesting. I have three harvests so far and looking to do a fourth and possibly a fifth before the season is over.
It was finally time to get both my spinach and kale into the garden this week. I also have lettuce and broccoli that need to be transplanted, but they need a little bit more time before I add them to the garden.
Planted some summer crop seeds into a 72 cell plant tray using expandable soil pellets. I want to see if this soil will sprout much better than soil I have used in the past. Tomato, eggplant, broccoli, peppers, cucumbers, and some lettuce seeds are in these cells.
It’s time to start planting some spring crop indoors just before the weather begins to warm up. Right now I have planted kale, lettuce, and spinach indoors. I like using these pvc pipe sections for spinach plants in order to give the tap root plenty of room and prevent them from bolting and going to seed.
I have started picking peppers, tomatoes, beans, and even zucchinis. I have only picked a couple of cherry tomatoes, but there are many more to come once they start to ripen.

I picked three harvests of strawberries this month.Â
Yesterday was a good day to start planting potatoes, radishes, and pea seeds. I started tilling part of the garden for my spring crops so far. The rest of the garden will be tilled in the month of May.
