Long before body painting was a thing/trending, I shot this editorial for Hinano Beer of Tahiti. Our model was completely nude and body painted to match the colors of the famous Hinano vahine. The body painting was so good that passersby thought Cheryl was wearing a wet pāreu.

Love shooting live entertainment with digital systems using only available theatrical lighting - you have so much more latitude. Images from Sheraton Waikiki’s NYE celebrations on the eve of the global lockdown. Lucky for me I was able to be here at this moment not only to make these images but also to meet new lifelong friends a few hours later.
