Well, perhaps I should make an introductory post about myself.
Hello! I am Epicness1000. I am an artist and a writer who aspires to one day be a well-respected and notorious author– yes, I'm aware it's going to be difficult, but that's kind of the point of having a dream.
I will be sharing my art here, occasionally rambling about my stories, posting/reblogging about interests and so on.
I have many special interests, largely dinosaurs, veganism/animal rights, old video games from the 90s/early 2000s, and Sephiroth. Yes. The main antagonist of Final Fantasy VII is my special interest, as well as the game itself.
I am very passionate about veganism and animal rights– when I say I oppose animal exploitation, I mean it. I make this clear right here and now as people are way too comfortable being openly anti-vegan on this site. Do note, however, that this is not a DNI.
If you're interested in talking, don't be shy! The likelihood of me biting you is relatively low.

CURRENT PROJECT: Deicide
A very angry velociraptor decides to kill all the Gods.
On a more serious note: In a primordial world where mortals and Gods live in conflict with wretches (strange, twisted individuals that must be eradicated), a wretch named Dune is betrayed and left for dead by the Gods. Filled with all-consuming rage, and blinded by her ambition to create a better world, Dune sees no choice but to hunt down and kill the Gods that currently rule over it.
A big redux of a story named Regicide, which I wrote when I was 16!
Project on Hiatus: Liberation
Set a century or two in the future, mega-corporation Genesis creates genetically engineered organisms to serve humanity for whatever purpose is decided for them.
This is the fourth version of the story– the first being developed when I was 15! And yes, it's an allegory on animal rights.

Headcanon: Sephiroth, at first glance and on a superficial level, may appear to be a heavy sleeper. However, his senses remain heightened even during slumber, and he will awaken if his body instinctively detects a potential threat. And he can sleep standing up too (canon-ish?)

Sephiroth's Nonhumanity, Monstrosity, and Why I Relate to Him
Approximately 4,500 words long. Uploaded as screenshots. A bit old-ish.
This is about embracing the different. We start with the biological, then move to the philosophical, and finally end with the personal. It is largely made up of analysing the canon itself, while mixing in my personal perspective and experiences that led to me seeing this subject in such a light. I managed to put my reasoning, analysis and thoughts into cohesive words, as this was written largely to set out my own views in a detailed manner. This is all just my opinion, of course. Dune— the protagonist of my current wip novel. A very scary 'wretched' velociraptor on a mission to kill Gods.
Ghost— an old OC that I really need to update. Has multiple versions, but for af I uploaded her human design, dragon design, and dragonborn design. She's a kind-hearted pacifist.
StarShadow— a Wings of Fire sona I've had since I was 15! She's gone through some redesigns, and is a Ice-Night-Rain-SeaWing hybrid. She's telekinetic and telepathic, hates fellow dragons, but loves animals.
Corvus— a DnD character I will repurpose into a proper OC in the future. A crow-based Aarakocra bard, and another pacifist! He hides a dark past involving his family behind a mask of smiles, warmth and goofiness.
SYN— another sona, but also kind of her own thing? She's an abominable, lovecraftian alien that seems to have appeared from the darkest depths of reality. Can shapeshift.
