laughter came easy with her, and even though loreon felt undeserving of her friendship, he thrived in it. he'd severed many bonds over the past years, but to his relief, olynna had been a constant in his life. "very well, i confess it was indeed my lion ego that wanted to hear you say it." a boyish smirk as he mirrored her gesture and poked her arm gently. "i've missed you as well." loreon hadn't forgotten about the rumour that had rippled through westeros shortly after his departure. talk of a secret affair after he was spotted with a woman in essos, none other than the tully princess herself, though luckily her identity was never uncovered. it had painted him as a liar and a cheat, and lyanna a lovesick fool — her humiliation no doubt stinging worse than his indignation after he had put oceans between them. even now, an aura of mystery and excitement surrounded the recently returned prince, courtiers drawn to him and his grand tales like flies to honey. not a word of remorse uttered and his misdeeds left unpunished, or so it seemed. "a knight in shining armour, is it?" he chuckled, a short-lived, unconvincing thing. as if he weren't sorely lacking a code of honour. "don't let my father hear that. he might be convinced to try and cover my sins with a white cloak." he retorted. "enough of me. how are you?"
Her grin turns into a warmer expression, that softness reserved for those who were closer to her heart, loreon was one of them as close to her as a brother, a confidant and someone who, if it came to be, would not steer her wrong. as she had tried to often do for him. "i have missed you whole heartedly, could i have dragged you back here sooner i would've done it with no hesitation." she confesses, and she was certain she had ended most, if not all of her letter with a prayer for his swift return home. although, she suppose it was better late than never. "i am truly over the moon to have you back, it has not been the same without you around here."
"you were once misguided, loreon," it is all she gives, she does not believe him a sinner, a miss placed judgement, perhaps a bit of a scare boy turned man, but not a sinner the word to her was far too harsh. "as i am always, i am a creature of habit, that includes this peaceful life of mine. i have traveled, i have spent my time healing or reading and pleasing my mother the queen as well as avoiding her expectations." she rolls her eyes at the latter, she loved her mother but sometimes she has hard to please and she wish for nothing more than for her daughter to settle down and marry a good lord or prince.
princess—such a burdensome title. one, araceli does not respect. since it is a claim she has not earned. not with her bare hands nor charming wit. and anyone close to the young sailor; knew araceli—would simply abide to the preference of being called captain. for the sea runs true and blue in her veins. she continues to lace up her precious boots, having traded her heels; now that the hour had past. a compromise reached with her mother over the stipulations of araceli's wardrobe. toes currently wiggling in cloth lined leather before standing to greet the other. ❛land shouldn't give you this much trouble. you are born to it.❜ teases princess velaryon with a wry grin. ❛and what do I owe the pleasure, olynna?❜
Olynna chuckles with amusement, "i was born in water, and i belong to the water as much as you do, just to sweeter waters that is." calmer waters who's wrath hardly ever came, unlike the sea who was as magnificent as it was dangerous. "simply wishing to pay my regards, it is been quite a while since the last time we have conside in the same gathering," she simply shrugs as she explains, her green orbs scanning the room before they land back onto her boots, the more comfortable option and she admires the others bravery to sticking to her habits. "i like your boots," she offered, thinking of her own that were discarded in her room next to her much preferred simple gowns.
"Lyanna, please, if we are to be friendly or grow to friendship, I would have you know and use my name. We both deserve such light if not to steal a little of it to bring it back from whence we came. Winter may always be coming, but spring and summer do follow it on occasion," she interjects, shaking a head of flame, auburn tendrils, a soft burning sunset in their tone framing a face that indeed had, in fact, soaked up the sun their travels had bathed it in. This was a sweet woman, a kind and gentle creature whom if a mere glance at her could tell a single thing was not a woman to betray a friend but be ever faithful and loyal. Lyanna had half an inkling to suggest to her younger brother that perhaps a siren of the riverlands would temper his heat if Lyanna were to suggest anyone to make a match for her brother.
"Our travels are always eventful, especially with full-grown direwolves in toe. Bane hesitates to leave me but while twice my size he can still have the enthusiasm of a pup bounding forward beyond scouts ahead of us on the road. He was not allowed to the feast but in the coming days you will have to meet him. Frightening to some but all those who come as friend fear nothing from the pup i once nursed. Traveling through the neck is always treacherous but riveting nonetheless for seeing the crannogmen. Going through your own lands and further still - we would have to take all evening to tell you everything." Lyanna mustered a true smile, the first of its kind in many months or in fact years enjoying telling stories. If not a princess nor a warrior she would've liked in a great dream beyond all dreams in some distant future beyond their own to hope whomever she came back as wrote great tales not knowing the legends they'd come from. Even if in reality Lyanna's travels had been saturated with the dull gray color of perpetual mourning and wrought with thoughts struggling to keep a mind quiet a stark princess could make the reciting of the contents of a sewing hutch. "We may just take small bits of it and save a good bulk of the tales of our journeys from the north for the rest of the time we are here, knowing not all the days will be full of council meetings. Have you travelled extensively or have you only travelled within the borders of the riverlands?"
The siren of the riverlands is surprised by the others suggestions, she had come to believe the northerners of the farthest corner of the realm were far more proud, but she is pleasantly surprise by the warmth of the princess of hair of fire. "then you shall also call me by my name, or oly, as the closest to me often call me," in truth olynna preferred her nickname to her full name, it made her sound younger and warmer when others called to her. her full name sounded harsh sometimes, as if she was as old as time, but perhaps it was because her name had come from an ancestor. "i do enjoy the summers in the riverlands, it is the best of times to swim to ones content, then soaking in the warmest of the sun listening to the high ties of the melted snow that flows through the rivers." yes, that was her favorite time of the year. "have you ever been to my homeland during the summer? if not i must send and invitation soon enough."
oly perks up at the mention of the dirwolves, beautiful creatures that she had only ever read about, the legends of the north and one of the few regions she was yet to explore. once she had suggested to her father, but he had simply dismissed her with tales of frigid snow and long winters. "yes, i can only imagine what that is like, although it sounds eventful enough to be entertained. my travels were mostly boring, i dare say too peaceful in danger of being impetuous for one should prefer peaceful rather an eventful and troublesome." a small laughter at her own words, her mother would be mortified. "nothing would honor me more than to spend more time wiht you p-lyanna." she is quick to rectify herself. "i must beg of you to perhaps join me on a stroll of the city at your sooner convenience." olynna expected to spend most of her time in the healers quadrant if not otherwise occupied.

While she had been carefully instructed to pay her respect to all the heads of the royals family through the length of their travels south by her dear mother, there were a few she did not need to be instructed to do so. the ruling princess of the dornish people was one of them, having open her home to olynna it was the very least she could do, and she had also missed the conversations they had shared while she had been in dorne learning healings from the people of the dornish desert. "princess illaria, you're a sight for this tired eyes of mine," she says giving her a well polish curtsy. "it is always a pleasurer to see you."

special raven for princess myriah martell — @vipcrous
The eternal social butterfly of the riverlands, her father often called her, she had an ability to unravel in social situations like no other, one could not tell if it was something that had been carefully known or if it simply come to her by nature, if you were to ask her she would say it was both things. however, she truly enjoyed the notion of meeting new folk, of traveling and learning the ways of others, it was why she had followed her father as a young girl around the continent and beyond, why she had acquire the travel bug as her mother had called. "princess myriah," olynna calls for the other as she recognizes her, "as lovely as always, look at the dornish fabrics, nothing can compare." and she meant it, having seen it with her own eyes years prior she often acquired her own from there.
Rhaenyra had no idea that many would know beric ... let alone know he was a knight ... a knight who served in the Kingsguard before his leaving which had many wondering why or questioning considering he is considered by many to be one of the best swordsmen and most honorable men in all the Seven Kingdoms . It's been years since my have seen him and all the dragonseed could do was listen as he twisted his words on his disappearance . nyra decided to leave his side for some fresh air before any more attention was drawn to her . She already disliked the whispers going on about her . ❝ the night is hot compared to the north ❞ Rheanyra said to no one in particular as she sat at the edge of the balcony and ate a couple of the grapes that were on the plate she had taken earlier .
Olynna herself had gone to the outside corners of the ball for a moment of quiet, where she could simply exist, not that anyone forced her to be social, she always took the initiate however she did needed silence from time to time to recharge. she observes as the young girl of hair like sunlight comes through the curtains and into the night, she smiles giving her a court nod, it is not until she speaks that she holds all her attention. a warm sisterly smile is given, "is it your first time this far south?" she wonders. she remembers her first time beyond the riverlands, it had been hard to assimilate to the dryness.

Olynna makes her way back into the buzzling hall after spending some needed quiet in one of the balconies, thankful for her sworn sword for keeping others away form the area and giving her a much needed respite. with a refreshed expressions she begins her careful steps, slightly worn out, and wishing simply to find her bed she is less careful than when the night had first begin. lost in thought to find a reason to disappear into the night she does not realize there is another standing in her chosen path until its too late. shoulder colliding with the other, "oh may, my deepest apologies, it seems i am falling asleep as we speak." she jests with a light heart. "i hope i have not ruined your exquisite dress."
special raven for princess araceli velaryon — @twitchywitchys
Olynna had greeted most of the heads of every kingdom in accordance to her parents wishes, it had been the offspring of them she had not found with as much ease. although in the room dedicated to welcomed everyone at the same time, it was slightly easier to do so. "princess velaryon," she calls as she comes face to face with the beauty, a small bow of her head in respect and a friendly smile adorns her features. "you seem to be quite hard to find this evening, i hope you're enjoying the night." she is quick to add.

special raven for lord adarien blackwood — @p0isonedheart
The liquid contained inside the goblet she holds as she makes her round about the room had been discretely swapped for water, she did not wish to offend anyone by denying them a toast or two as she mingled with the crowd of the royals and their vassals. but she was also not about to be intoxicated either, one goblet would be enough to help her lose her wits with how little she ever drank. taking a refreshing drink she holds it up to her sibling across the room giving them a playful wink before she sets her eyes back to her companion in turn. "adarien, old friend, what is your opinion in todays gathering?" she asks with slight amusement.
the tully princess was a breath of sweet air amid a flock of vultures waiting to descend — although he'd returned to westeros a few months ago, the prince had yet to attend a gathering of such proportion. gilded in every sense of the word, loreon glided through the ballroom on ever-graceful feet, his inner turmoil well-concealed ( admittedly, he'd managed to steer clear of the stark brood thus far. his composure may not be quite as intact once the inevitable came to pass ). "forgive me. i didn't think my presence so desired." the answer pulled a grin into his cheeks as he fell into step beside his friend. as much as he enjoyed their correspondence, it couldn't hold a candle to olynna's company. "how should you like their sorrow-stricken faces once they see me dancing with the fairest of them all?"
A playful roll of her eyes she pats his arm with her free hand in response. "as you have reprieve me of your presence for far too long, you should know your presence is desired. or perhaps you simply seek to be reminded to feed that lion ego of yours?" a brittle finger pokes at his arm with determination, but she laughs along her words. it is a fresh breath of air to see her dearest friend back on the lands that had seen them born and grow. his letters had been welcomed, but there was nothing like having him in the flesh. "perhaps i shall enjoy it a bit too much, but not as much as i enjoy seeing seeing them swoon over you as if you were the knight in shinning armor coming to be the answer to all their questions."
There was a flicker of a thought, an insidious little barb that, in the time since her failed betrothal and subsequent embarrassment for being rumored to be left for another as well, had caused Lyanna to question everyone. It was a quiet questioning, a whisper was this woman or that the one someone who had left a winter wolf so heartbroken ran off with. It was a poisonous little edge to her thought process now forever imprinted upon her mind that had to be ignored. Lyanna prayed the one that had so thoroughly ruined all was dead. She would not even think his name.It was unfair to others to judge them by her own hurt, though Lyanna would never breathe of its full extent or how deep the devastation had run. Shoving the wicked thought far from her Lyanna bowed her head in recognition of a fellow princess and smiled politely and yet still magnificently. "Princess Tully, you pay me a great compliment. From where both of us have come the sun does us wonders and yet we both do truly outshine it. Join me, please. Let two neighbors become better acquainted as we take a turn"
Olynna felt her heart tug at the princess, she looked so regal, unwavering and commanding, and yet olynna knew of the sadness that lingered in the darkness of her eyes. at first olynna had felt guilty that the travels of loreon and herself had been distorted to turn into scandal, but a part of her was also glad her own identity had never been revealed, even if the scandal had been far from the truth. the princess words are no lie, the lands of the riverlands are more misty than they are summer incarnate, and yet she could not ever imagine living amongst snow and ice for the better part of the years. "you are well deserving of it, i assure you, princess stark." she nods with her head to solidify her words. "it shall be my pleasure, where the travels of you and your family well?" she wonders, her own travels had been long and dull.
"indeed, everything seems meticulously planned. a true testament to the hosts' dedication to excellence," she mused, her gaze sweeping across the opulent ballroom filled with nobles bedecked in their finest attire. all this for a gathering of the great council. it was clear that someone's intention was to test the waters and gauge the temperature among the royal houses.
"admiration fills my heart at the sheer magnitude of the evening's festivities." she took another sip of her wine, feeling it linger softly on her tongue before she continued, "but how does it compare to the grandeur of castle riverrun, princess? i am quite curious."
alarra knew that she had to make an impression tonight, to be as pristine and rare as people expected her to be. she had trained and prepared for this moment, the culmination of her septa's lessons and guidance from her mama that had spanned her whole life, and involved many sleepless nights of practice and worry. the air was filled with a palpable sense of anticipation, as royals, nobles, and dignitaries from across the realm mingled and conversed, their voices blending into a melodic hum that filled the halls.
Olynna was herself a people watcher, even when she entangled in conversations she was attentive to every detail, every rehearsed mannerism. the princess of the north, alike her older sister, were beauties befitting of those northern sonnets, yet there was something about the princess that in her opinion prevented her from shinning in her own unique way.
"it does not, not at all." olynna is quick to answer, her eyes wondering about the room, taking in the dripping opulence of every corner, her stomach almost makes a turn. "we prefer much simple evenings that all this," her father was a man who did not enjoy of boasting, he was a man of actions rather than curtains of smoke and fire to pretend rather than to truly be.
"the winterfell keep, is an ancient magnificent structure of its own, everything was thought from start to finish, down to the location of the warm waters under, or so i have read, yet again the north it is nothing like the shiny things of the south, wouldn't you agree?" the tully siren says with confidence, she often felt like the south tried too hard to make up for things, unlike the proud people beyond the lands of the rivers.

special raven for princess lyanna stark — @heartsxbane
The river siren only knew of the princes by the stories and tales her dearest friend loreon had come to tell her through the years, unmistakable not only by her fiery hair but also that commanding orbit of hers, she had seen her at distances before perhaps had formaly met her once or twice in her life, vaguely enough to barely pinpoint. olynna had learned to keep her distance from the daughter of wolves mostly for her loyalty to loreon, even if she had never agreed with the foolish boy, and yet something had lured her not far from the princess, listening to her manners she was inclined to acknowledge her. "princess stark, the sun of the capital becomes you."
special raven for prince loreon lannister — @oceansborn
Silent steps, like a scheming feline ready to pounce, olynna takes advantage that the room is full of idle chatter accompanied by the faint music in the background, one moment her pale green eyes find him and the next she is crossing the room and linking her arms with his without any warning. "there you are, prince lannister, have you been avoiding me in favor of the fair ladies in attendance?" she jests with her old friend, wide smile and dimples on display she gives him the most innocent of expressions, although mischief is always dancing in her eyes.
