audio jacks have become pretty much obsolete. Headphones that aren’t sensory hell are often expensive. If someone playing stuff out loud in a public area pisses you off while not being anything explicit/illegal. It’s a you problem, my friend. If you think good headphones should be easy to afford, buy yourself a pair of noise-cancelling ones

It’s antisocial and incredibly rude and offensive to do that. The point of public spaces is that we all have to occupy it and share it, and we all have to try to get by. No one is entitled to dominating the public spaces.

I have earbuds and listen to my music or podcast or video in a way that does not disrupt or intrude on others who are not me and do not want to watch or listen to what I do. Even with that, and with the volume up, other people’s music and videos blasting out loud can counter that. And it often does.

What if people get seriously overstimulated and need to not be overwhelmed by thoughtless assholes around them, to provide a counterexample to yours.

The number of people doing it are not the specific ridiculous example you brought up.

When I say that this is antisocial, I am not using that lightly or incorrectly. Actions like that damage the already frayed social contract and are incredibly selfish. It shows that they do not care about or think about literally anyone else around them, that only what they want to do is what matters.

last series: secrets we keep on netflix. 10/10 recommend if you like crime/thrillers/mysteries. the themes are so real and terrifying bc this all happens in real life. i believe it’s danish, and the acting was amazing! 🤩

last move: anemone on netflix. tbh, i didn’t even finish this because i could not get through it. my mom fell asleep even. it’s so sad bc we both love daniel day-lewis and sean bean. it was very slow-paced and almost awkward. the cinematography was beautiful and the story could have been amazing…but yeah. ☹️

last song: body to body by bts. this was on my kpop playlist while i was making the banner for my last fic. i’m trying to memorize the korean lyrics to the ‘arirang’ sample bc i think it’s so beautiful and a perfect homage to south korea in the new album ♥️ so grateful hobi fought for it 🤺

working on: skz daddy series 👀 so excited for the next part and so unbelievably happy that people are enjoying it. i’m also working on a request and a 🤫 secret project

sweet or salty: salty all the way. i have to crave something sweet and it’s very rare haha but put a plate of food in front of me mama and i’m chowin’

coffee or tea: both lol coffee to get me through the day and tea to wind down and relax. i chug a cup off iced coffee most days to keep me energized 🧋and i drink a cup of digestion tea every night so settle my stomach and help me 💤🫖

Reading: the song of Achilles, but I can’t finish it I’ve been sosososo busy. I’m trying my best tho

Last series: pretty little liars.. I’ve had an obsession since I was 15 and I really wanted to rewatch it. Otherwhise I’m watching one on Netflix called bloodhounds, it’s literally so amazing you guys need to check it out

Last movie: Edward scissorhands, I’ve always been so comforted by Tim Burton movies and it’s something that I’ll never grow out of. It makes me feel like a kid again ^^

Last song: circles by Pierce the veil, I’m literally the biggest ptv fan girl ever and circles has gotten me through EVERYTHING.. rock music in general is also very important for me and my character because it’s something I’m known for and something my friends and family label as “me”, iykwim??

Working on: I justtttt finished my first lino smut which I’m very very veryyyy excited for hiiihihihihihi. But I’m trying to start one with hyunjin, it’s a mix of angst and smut but I don’t really have many ideas. I’m thinking of making it ex relationship back to lovers and everything inbetween being very messy. But I’m also very nervous since I’ve never written angst before and I don’t know what classifies as tooooo over the top or the complete opposite. But we’ll have to see how it goes

Sweet or salty: a combination of both. Literally my favorite thing in the world is sweet&salty anything. It can be chocolate covered chips, chocolate popcorn or like some salty candy (aslong as it’s not licorice) I’ll DIEEE for it.

Coffee or tea: I hate coffee so much, but I’m a tea fiendddddd. I lovelovelove tea especially during winter times because it’s so cozy cuddling with your cats and just sipping tea while it’s snowing. Coming from someone who HATES winter so much.

Reading: I just started to read Icebreaker after my friend forced me to do so... But oh lord I haven't completed reading it yet, I really wanna read it but somehow 24hr feel too little for me to start reading. hufff

Last series: I remember starting Idol I before exams. I watched like, 5 episodes and then suddenly I realized I had goddamn English exam the next day so I had to call it quits and start my studies fr. Lmao. I was actually gonna continue it after I post a few of my works the upcoming months, but let'ssss see!!

Last movie: Hush (2016) it's a thriller and horror movie. Well I actually started it cause in the trailer I found the masked man hot.. But HEY I didn't know HE was the killer so that's valid okay?! But damn he looks sososo delicious and good in the mask.. I AM NORMAL I SWEAR.

Last song: We Go Up by Babymonster. I was practicing Asa's rap part cause I was done with Chiqi and Ahyeon's part, and even Ruka's rap too. I jus couldn't do Asa omg. Mommy fr.

Working on: The third part for my series haha. I really really wanna upload it all but I gotta keep patience. I literally am keeping my series aside and I even started my changbin fic. Spoilers but it's so damn messed up and it's smutty too omgomgomg.

Sweet or salty: Honestly as a spice lover, I would choose salty. I have iron deficiency, hope that gives some context smh.

Reading: I am currently in the process of reading A LOT of books and how many have I finished...none. I am in the process of trying to finish one of Stephen Hawkings books (forgot the name srry hah) whilst simultaneously getting confused with both roman and greek muthologu. I still am reading King of Emvy (havent continued it since last time i mentioned it...) and ive also now started listening to audiobooks. Send help i need to at least finish on book by the end of the week.

Last series: The mentalist :). Its something that i mainly have in the background when revising and then grt bored revising but at that point I tend to have no idea whats going on in the episode. So i am barely that far into it, but its good. And about crime so...

Last Movie: Straykids dominste experience. The second it was on prime I kept rewatching it. Absolute masterpiece.

Last song: Rät by Penelope Scott. Great song. Love it. We are completely going to ignore the fact that Wii music was playing right before it...

Working on: A lot of things hah. Drawing wise, my whole list of wips has managed to grow. Revision wise, I have almost an entire nitebook full of my History (mainly weimar germany rn for some reason, i rlly need to focus on medicine through time) and a scrapbook that ive currently done one page of.

Sweet or Salty: I am very much a sweet loving person, purely based off of the fact if anything salty or spicy gets anywhere near me i will DIE (hyperbole hehe). :O ive remembered a story rq. I was volunteering at my school a few months ago, and my friend gave me a single taki. I was rolling around on that floor in pain for like ten minutes.

Coffee or tea: I may be a brit but I cannot stand the taste of tea. I do not know why. I do not know how. Ive tried to grow accustomed but no. Dont like it. Too sweet. Not like I'm any better with coffee. I like coffee under very specific circumstances. Eh, coffee.

I don't know if people younger than 30 really understand what a monster that man was and how much harm we still feel today.

The man was such cruel bastard that he the 2004 reelection campaign on opposing gay rights to the point of rallying for a federal ban on legal gay relationships while having a gay daughter.

He orchestrated lie after lie after lie to kill millions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The social environment in the mid-00's was honestly even worse than it is today. You couldn't be hyper-patriotic at all times let alone be critical of them.

He's one of the main reasons we have the patriot act and drones and militarized police and ICE and DHS and why we lost nearly all of our civil liberties.
