the thing about the widespread use of AI to cheat in higher education is that, in most industries, you've all just ensured that you're spending a lot of money on a piece of paper that doesn't mean anything anymore

because a college degree no longer tells anyone anything about your critical thinking or literacy skills or mastery of any particular material. you can now move through college completely untouched by any actual education

so employers will just shift to looking at experiences like internships to prove that you're capable of actually doing the work or applying the knowledge

and if you can't do unpaid internships and can't network your way into a job or whatever, then you can go fuck yourself
