you don’t a girl many choices, Mr. Terranova.
you’re fortunate that yes, I would love to :)
Charlie hadn’t stopped thinking about this new man in her life. He was… different from the usual LA type of boys. Every minute with him felt like she was in danger somehow. It was a familiar feeling. One that had caused her to fall in love so hard, and break so much harder. But it was the kind of rush that reminded her of being on stage. This was something she couldn’t pass up, no matter the cost. She knew anything could happen, and it didn’t mean it would necessarily end up bad, right? When she received a text from Enzo, she was surprised by his bluntness, but loved being wanted by a man. However, she was unsure at first, wondering how this could work since he was temporary her boss. But she was typing out her response before she could have time to realize that maybe she shouldn’t. The rush was apparently addictive.
She had previously went shopping for the ball with one of her friends Maggie. At the time, Maggie had a date and Charlie didn’t. So her friend swayed Charlie’s dress choices toward the more provocative ones in hopes of gaining attention. Now she was thanking her friend that she had a beautiful dress to wear as she was by Enzo’s side. Charlie had spent a good hour and a half with her hair and makeup artist, getting ready and getting excited about the event. There was no way she would be able to do her hair the way it came out. She was happy as could be at the moment. Happiness for just herself, rarely came to her so she was relishing in it. So much so that even after her help had left, she didn’t realize that Enzo wasn’t on-the-dot on time. Hearing the chime of her door, she pulled herself away from the mirror, she was trying to make sure she looked the part. “Hello,” she said as she opened her door revealing the deep rose hue of her dress. Charlie’s eyes went up and down on him, obviously taking in his handsome appearance. “You look so hot.” She said so bluntly as the thought crossed her mind. “I mean..” she quickly tried to recover as her cheeks turned almost as red as her dress.
When the door opened and revealed the blonde in the deep shade of red dress, Enzo’s eyes traveled along the fabric as it clung to her body. “Cazzo, sei calda. Voglio dire, sei così bella, Charlie.” His native tongue overtaking him in the moment, not realizing the female probably had no idea what he said. “I mean, you look fuckin’ gorgeous, Charlie.” Enzo complimented her before a cocky smile came across his face at her statement. The rose colored blush spread across her face and made the male’s grin a bit wider. “Thanks, doll. But you’re gonna be gettin’ all the eyes, especially in that dress. Damn.” He muttered the curse word under his breath, his eyes roaming over her body once more. “C’mon, let’s go.” He said, not adding the words ‘before I decide not to’. Enzo definitely considered blowing the whole party if it meant spending the evening alone with Charlie, all because of that damn red dress.
The male offered her his hand before leading the two into the car, the driver closing the door after the two climbed in. Settling into his seat, Enzo reached over and grabbed the bottle of champagne in the ice bucket. “I figured we’re gonna be late, so why not go ahead and start drinking?” He grinned, turning his gaze back onto her with the bottle in one hand and two glasses in the other. Enzo placed the two glasses on the built in table in the sedan, filling the two glasses halfway before laying the bottle back in ice. He lifted one glass and held the other to her, waiting for her to grab it. “Here’s to you sayin’ yes.” The man said, giving the blonde a dimpled and charming grin.
