Guys are fucking weird. Online, I don’t really talk to a lot of males, or have many many contacts. Conversations more often than not have a weird awkwardness to them, and I usually don’t get a sense of there being much common ground. There’s also this competitive “big dick” kind of subtext that underpins the entire interaction, which really rubs me the wrong way. Like the guy is trying to win the social interaction or something. It’s ridiculous. As far as observing group social interactions, I really don’t understand why “thirsty AF” is their most common default setting. Like wtf. These are adult males. It doesn’t do them any favours. Like fucking chill out. That also carries it’s subtext of dominance play with it, and it’s just kind of exhausting. There is literal dick measuring that goes on. Smh. I’m not claiming any kind of moral, or intellectual high ground, I just find engagement with them is statistically in favour of being a fucking exhausting net loss. It’s probably just me.
