Voltron S8 Drinking Game*
*Since most of you are probably under 21 or if you don’t drink alcohol** like me, I like to do Mountain Dew shots. It’s actually super fun and will give you the energy you need to binge the whole season late into the night
**I actually do not encourage drinking alcohol while watching the show, especially not with this drinking game because it would probably kill you. Please drink responsibly and don’t push yourself, even if it’s just Mountain Dew. Have fun within your limits!
With that said, for those of you who don’t know, a drinking game is when you get shot glasses and take a drink every time something on this list happens in the show. Soda works great but you can also do juice or chocolate milk or Martinelli’s or you can go crazy and MIX sodas together (Fanta and Mountain Dew is quite amazing, my friends). You might want to have a handful of shot glasses already filled in case a scene happens where you gotta take a bunch of shots at once, and then you refill them so you’re ready for whatever the show throws at you next!
TAKE A SHOT OF YOUR PREFERRED DRINK WHEN:
They show the form Voltron sequence [mania mode: keep taking shots until it’s finished, see who can get the most in]
Pidge is referred to as Katie
Lance says “Razzle Dazzle”
Anyone says “Quiznack” [may be mania mode like s7]
Voltron forms the sword [double if it’s flaming, triple if it’s dual swords]
Whenever there’s a group hug
Two or more characters use their bayards together to unlock some new ability for Voltron
Whenever characters kiss [double if you like the ship]
Whenever characters hold hands
Anytime a character uses a special ability of their Lion
A Lion saves its pilot from danger or acts on its own accord
If any characters start piloting a different Lion (they like to play musical chairs in this show)
Whenever a character DIES (lol I’m sobbing because this actually happens quite frequently), double shots if said character is brought back to life, triple shots if they’re not because that’s so sad
Character(s) you thought were dead turn out to be alive (I have a couple in mind that might show up in s8)
Monsters and Mana reference or if they play MnM again
Coran makes any kind of Altean reference/metaphor that no one gets except (probably) Allura
Hunk bakes or mentions food
Pidge hacks into something
Lance does the finger guns
Allura uses Altean Alchemy (or some other kind of magic lol)
Altean colony makes an appearance
Blade of Marmora makes an appearance
Someone’s Bayard changes into a new form (looking at you LONCE)
Lance actually uses his Altean broadsword in combat
Keith dual wields his katar (bayard) and Marmoran blade
Something tragic happens to Shiro
Shiro has a “Space Dad” moment
There’s a flashback scene
Someone cries [if multiple characters are crying, take a shot for each and you’ll probably be crying too so take one for yourself]
Character gets severely injured and/or gets permanent scarring (I have my bets for who this might be)
Someone self-sacrifices themselves to save someone else (looking again at you LONCE and KEITH as well)
Someone gives a pep talk or motivational speech of sorts (more than likely Allura, Shiro, or Lance)
Whenever someone enters the quintessence field
Whenever someone enters an alternate reality
Character is controlled or corrupted
A character is revealed to not be who we thought they were (whether betrayal, switching alliances, or having been a clone) [double shots if it’s one of the Paladins]
The Atlas saves a paladin/Voltron
All the MFE fighters are on screen
Lance flirts with someone [triple shots if someone flirts with Lance]
Whenever Coran is sleeveless (Coran Coran the gorgeous man)
Whenever Kaltenecker or the Trash Floofs make an appearance [double shots if they’re both in the same scene]
Kosmo saves someone/everyone with his teleporting
Family moment between one of the paladins and their family
You see Lauren Montgomery’s name on screen because she’s amazing
Triple shots if any of your ships become canon
If there’s a timeskip/epilogue
Mania Mode: anytime someone says “quintessence” (I have a feeling it will be said a lot this season)
Since I had very little material to go off on for this season a lot of these prompts are vague and a lot of them probably won’t happen. I did my best though! Have fun and I hope you all enjoy the last season of our beloved show!
