ASHES TO BONES

❛   AND  WHAT  ----   ❜   Silken  purr  cut  off  with  JAGGED  breath  drawn  in  ALOUD,  LONG  LOST  WARMTH  of  air  through  gritted  teeth  has  PLUMP  lips  part  and  TUG  into  an  EFFORTLESS   grin  that  DEVOURS  stars.   ❛   ---  ARE  YOU  supposed  to  BE  ?   ❜ 

❛  THEY  ARE  FILTHY,  misbegotten  little  liars,  ruthless  destroyers  --  all  of  them.  Easily  corrupted  & ever  BLOODTHIRSTY.  ❜  She  SELCOUTH,  once - silken  touch  of  voice  swiftly  and  sourly  TURNS,  like  milk,  from  honey  to  venom.  FIRE  graceful  in  it’s  LIVELINESS,  hell  itself  holds  NO  such  fury  as  the  one that  coruscates  blinding  (  &  daring  )  within  lurid  gaze,  UNAPOLOGETICALLY  dagger - ridden.  ❛   MANY  things  AWAIT  them  in  the  future.  Forgiveness,  however,  is  NOT  one  of  them.  ❜

A CLOAK TAKEN ON SO WELL, naught but a SERVING wench in rags POVERTY - STAINED, if not for the beauty ETHEREAL, she looks one of them, disguised and MINGLED all too perfect. A wolf, a girl, A CHILD, cast under the SICKENING shadow of a beast of a WICKED boy, she shall not be left to SUFFER and perish as if FORSAKEN by whatever gods she prays to. Lithe frame INCHES in slow, saccharine smile ABEAM upon pale features, she leans IN & DOWN, closer as if to SHARE a secret kept only for her ears.  ❛ MY LADY -- You must be exhausted. Shall I escort you back to your CHAMBERS ? ❜

DARKNESS LIES THICK A BLANKET upon night - swallowed life, she lingers naught but A GHOST within shadows, perfectly silent like a CREATURE nocturnal, emeralds BEAM sizzling flame and she EYES him. Foolish to chain a LION, cruelty of men, she thinks, KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES, not of logic nor heart. She approaches, slow, as if GLIDING through thin air and HALTS behind him ----- GRACE - RIDDEN, and yet proud with power THROBBING endless, she slides to the side, HUMAN reactions ELUDE her, the fear she may CAUSE lies unbestowed.  ❛  I SADLY must agree with your lord father. Chains do not look GOOD on you.  ❜

FURY FLASHES but for a second, momentary flame within PALE gaze nailed upon him, she is no BEAST like men to lash out when he SMELLS of serenity familiar, dusted mayhaps but unforgotten. Burnt too brutal once to LOWER her guards so SOON, chin tips up, where once would LIE A SMILE worth the world, trembles PURSED petals of rosy - hue with nervous ANTICIPATION. ❛  Should you approach with anything else but PEACE set in heart, you will regret it.  ❜
