Hello my friends! My name is Renat Yussupov. Let me tell you about Almaty âArbatâ Town square. Itâs very beautiful and interesting place in Apple City. Itâs a very important place for everybody who is living here.
The Arbat town square is located near the âSayahatâ city's main bus station so people come from different part of Almaty region to buy and sell goods. Moreover, it is also near the Almaty-2 train station and a subway station which makes it very convenient for city people, especially young people who don't have cars.  The square isnât very large thatâs why it full of hundreds of small shops and stalls and Itâs seems that this place is a magnet for inhabitants of Apple City. Consequently, you canât be confusing to get around. However, if you get lost, it is a good idea to look for the big jewelry store, named âAltynâ  which is situated at the end of the square. It will help you find your way.

Furthermore, walking deeper into the market, your eyes will have trouble recording so many products with their many colors, designs and sizes. After a while you may feel dizzy and look for a quiet place to have a rest and a refreshing drink.  Fortunately, there are many small cafes and drink stalls selling fresh coconut juice, orange juice or iced water.

Analysis of an argument
ESSAY QUESTION:The following appeared in a corporate memorandum of a beverage manufacturer: âOur promotional price reductions on energy drinks have been highly successful, as we have seen a dramatic increase in unit sales. Further, surveys of our consumers indicate that this promotion was favorably received by the majority of our customers. Therefore, to improve our companyâs profitability and enhance its perception in the eyes of consumers, similar price reductions should be offered on all drinks produced by our firm.â Discuss how well reasoned you find this argument. Point out flaws in the argument's logic and analyze the argument's underlying assumptions. In addition, evaluate how supporting evidence is used and what evidence might counter the argument's conclusion. You may also discuss what additional evidence could be used to strengthen the argument or what changes would make the argument more logically sound.
The author of the corporate memo recommends the reduction of all drinks produced by the firm. Thus, company will enhance the customer perception as well as increase overall profitability. The conclusion is made on the basis of the evidence that recent price reduction on energy drinks during promotional campaign was followed by a dramatic increse in unit sales. The author strengthens his suggestion by citing survey results, which indicates that the promotional activity was received with favor by the majority of the company's customers. This statement is unconvincing for several reasons. To begin with, the author mistakenly assumes that deacresing of the selling price for all the drinks can lead to increasing profitability. This may happen, nevertheless there is no clear evidence that the company would make more money if the prices are decreased. If it were supported by the deep quntitative analysis that the reduction of the price level for all drinks will increase the profitability it would look more reasonable. What is more, the author does not even provide the facts that recent promotional has led to the increase of profitability. Secondly, the reported survey may have been concentrated primaraly on very loyal customers, hence the possibility that further promotions can be received favorably by different customer segment is not logically convincing. Or, probably the survey asked only the customers who liked the promotion and under that emotional influence responded fruitfully with respect to the company. To strengthen the argument and persuade to deacrese the prices for all the products the author should provide detailed cost benefit analysis and analyze attitude of different customer's segments. To conclude, this argument should be revised because of all mistaken assumptions made by the author. This argument is not convincing. Without proper information it would be difficult to follow the proposed solution to decrease the rpices in order to increse the rpofit and customer satisfaction.

A fear experience
When I was a child, I usually read books at night.
One night, I read a ghost story. It was so compelling that I lost track of time. when I looked at clock, it said midnight. I looked around. Nobody was there. Â I felt cold in my back. It looked like a ghost around me. I closed the book softly. Then I jumped up in bed, covered over my head with a blanket without turning off the light. I closed my eyes. My hands took the edge of blanket tightly. Because I thought that ghost could take the blanket off.
I was lying in blanket with a jumping up heart when I remembered my grandmotherâs advice.
She told me that âwhen you feel so panic, you should pray Buddhaâ.
I began to pray Buddha. After that, I fell to sleep insensitive.

Please help me to correct it,
Thanks a lot my teacher.
Video games and how to fight it
Many youngsters use computers in todayâs world. Almost all of them are gamers. Some youngsters are just used to using social games and now they are using their abilities for making decisions regarding social problems. On the other hand,  many children use their computers uncontrollably. They play violent games, where they  just kill other people, monsters or people turning into monsters, bust everything in the gameâs world and use drugs to increase their virtual health.
Firstly Video games make them disappointed in real life. Gamers are usually bring emotions from virtual reality to real word.  This behavior turns back problems in real word. Youth shows aggression and  violence to other young people.
Secondly, spending a lot of time at the computer badly impacts on health.  Weak  young body is subjected to high overload, especially  in the eyes. This is the reason of problems with blood pressure and eyesâs illness.
Never parents want to see their child as a prisoner or as a patient of an ophthalmologist.  However, duty to protect childrenâ fragile minds  from violence in games does not lies on parents, but also lies on the government. It is hard to control all market of video games, but it should be done for our children and for our society. The decision should be consists from districts of sales, employment of children in various  clubs of interest, control over the use of the computer and limiting the content of the information. This is a complex problem and it should be decided  all together.

From Trang Kroll - Thank You, My Teacher
I would like to say "thank you" to all of my teachers in English City
I know, today is not teacher's day but I can not wait to that day to say this.
"Thanks my teachers so much!"
I know almost of you are from America where is the up side down location to Vietnam in the Earth.
When we (Vietnamese students) come to class after working time it's the time you have to wake up so early (I can guess through your voice when you have just wake up ;-) ) . Or on Sundays, when the class starts at noon (Vietnamese time), it's midnight in your country. You have to stay up so late for teaching us.
you are teachers who love students so much.
In order to giving us your knowlegde, you have to be hard.
There are some teachers who have to eat small breakfast while students chat in class or in the rest between 2 classes, just 5 or 7 minutes.
Some days, the teacher is sick but she/he's still in class.
You come to class with a runny nose or having a cough instead of taking a rest.
Because you are teachers and you love students.
I love you so much, all my teachers.
I appreciate your enthusiasm.
I do not talk well in English, so I can not express my idea for having deep to respect for you.
I hope you can understand me.
One more time, thank you very much!

Hello to everyone! I am Renat Yussupov! I want to share with you my last trip. 3 weeks of English Immersion Courses were very memorable for me. I'll never forget the time in London when I learned the language here and found a lot of friends from different countries. I also had a chance to study Business English and learn some leadership skills. The classes were very interesting as they included both practical training and theory, but what I more liked was the Ipad Session, which developed four skills, reading, writing, speaking, listening. And also had a chance to visit Languagelab office and met with my teacher Alyssiia Frankland and Tom Symonds - CEO of Languagelab! I was really glad for meeting great people! I wish only the Best to LanguageLab Staff and prosperity! And also I wish to ALL students which use this kind of opportunitues to learn english language here! Thanks!

Argumentative report - Staff should not have the same lunch hour
Hi everyone,
I'm Mimi. I believe somebody may know me meeting at some classes. Yesterday, I've attended Business Reports class and learnt a lot. Thanking to Delia and dear friends being together, I've finally completed my writing. I'd be grateful if someone could correct my writing as follows. Thanks. Â
 Mimi
---------------------------------------
Staff should not have the same lunch hour.
Although now all staff have their lunch in same time period, typically from noon to 1 p.m., it may actually be argued that having different lunch hours would be more productive. Some progressive companies allow their staff to have lunch at their own convenience. For one reason for this, staff have very little time to eat because they have to waste time waiting in line, and finding a place to sit in the canteen. Secondly, each person has their own physiological cycles and right time to eat accordingly. Lastly, employer can have a benefit that the work can have continuity. I believe that the company choosing flexible lunchtime principal will have more development possibility.
First of all, nobody wants to be pressed while they are eating. In realty, however, staff have to eat out in just ten or fifteen minutes. Among the one hour of lunchtime given, people ought to spend 15 minutes to walk and find a place and another 15 minutes to order and wait for foods they ordered. Because they should consider time to go back to work, the given time to eat is very tight. If someone is late for being back to their seat, the employee would happen to be reprimanded for failing to enforce the lunch hour. No body would be happy and productive under such a pressed work environment.
Secondly, each person has their own physiological cycles and fundamental habit to live. For example, a person who doesn't eat breakfast would feel hungry than other person who does. The starving employer cannot be focus on the tasks at least from 11 a.m. On the other hand, someone who eat some sandwiches at work every morning just right before the office hour would not feel hungry until 1 p.m. This person probably want to go out to lunch after 1 p.m. Under the uniform work rules, however, every staff should go out at noon and come back in to their seat by 1 p.m. It can cause indigestion or obesity to someone who do not need to take nourishment at the timing.
Last but not least, employer can keep the work ongoing without break. If someone who prefer to have lunch at 1 p.m. remain on duty during the official lunch time, then the company can deal with the business and serve clients on urgent business. There would be no concern anymore to miss an important call during the official lunch time.
Some people think that keeping their seats in office hours can improve work efficiency because accounts may think the person in charge is in after 1 p.m. and need the person unexpectedly. However, I think the adjustment of lunch hours should be assigned based on the property of work. If some work do not allow work time autonomy, then the people may have no choice. But as most employees can cover the approximately one hour gap in business, operating two or three options of lunch time would not be a big deal.
In conclusion, giving a certain amount of autonomy in lunch hours is needed to improve satisfaction of staff, peoples health conditions, and work efficiency from a corporate standpoint. Everyday that goes by with having uniform lunch hours means that both staff and the company waste too much valuable resources. I firmly believe that the work environment allowed people to choose lunch time from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. can make higher productivity.
A Walk Along The Beach
A Walk Along the Beach, by Ginnie, Alexon, and Delia
It seemed like it had been raining for weeks, when a single ray of light pierced the clouds, and the birds began singing. It was spring at last!
Nick was hiding under the covers with just his eyes peeking out, like a catapillerâturned
butterfly ready to break out of a giant cocoon. It was a perfect day for a walk along the beach. He would stumble from bed, have his morning coffee, get dressed, and go wake up Gottit.
You may be thinking, âWhat a strange name!.â Allow me to explain. Nick met Eric when they were in elementary school. He was the most enthusiastic student in the class. Whenever the teacher asked a question to which he knew the answer, he would shout, âIâve got it ! Iâve got it!.â Needless to say, this was neither popular with Ms Johnston, the teacher, nor with his classmates. Thatâs when he became known as Gottit.
When Nick arrived and knocked on the door, Gottit had already got dressed. He was wearing a hooded raincoat and a pair good of sneakers. Â Nick and Gottit went to the beach together, Gottit started to run. Â He scrambled onto the rocks, and Nick got worried.
Suddenly he started waving his hands, like he had found something extraordinary.
Nick thought Gottit was calling for his help. So he ran to catch up to see what was going on.
There was a small sheep bobbing up and down in the water like a corpse.  They hurriedly got to the edge to try  to save her.
With Nick holding his hand, Gottit lowered himself to the water like an ape reaching for a peach he tried to get hold of a small sheep struggling in the water. After several attempts,  Gottit caught hold of the sheep, but had great difficulty lifting it up. in desperation, Gottit jumped into the water to have a final try. Luckily, the water was not deep so he could stand firmly. Then, with one hand still gripping Nickâs hand,Gottit finally raised the sheep onto the rocks. The terrified sheep landed on the rock, panting and heaving for air.  It was as if she  was thinking, âOh, Iâm finally safe!â.  She must have been feeling so relieved. After a while the sheep regained her energy and scrambled to her feet. On her way back home, the sheep turned her head, seemingly to bid them farewell and express her heartfelt gratitude towards her two good friends. Nick smiled to his friend and said, â You really got it this time!,â and  they both laughed their way home.
A Best Friend
Trang Kroll
A best friend is someone who tries to help you whenever you need it but you have not called yet. Who know what you want when seeing your face. Who sympathy and do not be angry with your mistakes as well as appreciates your good qualities and so much.
Luckily, I have a best friend. We have been our neighborhood since I was a child in my home town.
I remember crying when my mother passed away she lend her shoulder and shared my sadness.
I could not forget being a basket ball team with her every afternoon over 15 years ago. We were a couple in perfect team work. I did not look for her but I knew her at the place where I threw the ball to and vice versa.
Now, when I come back my hometown, she always stops to cook my favorite food even being busy.
I remember talking same sentences with her many times, because we had same thinking.
I left to go to the city. She still lives in country. We call each other every night to tell everything happened with us.
We always remember promising to travel together once per year.
Thus, we try to save time and money for this.
And, we have had happy days together.
Thanks god who gave me a best friend.
Thank you very much for your help to correct it.

Good day dear all! Let me introduce myself. My name is Nurgul, financial analyst. Before getting my degree, I studied economics and oil business at university. I started to work in Accounting division as an accountant assistant. I held that position for one year, and then was hired by another company where I'm working now. Currently I'm studying English course because whould like to be certified by International Management Accounting, and going to sit an exam next year.
Discuss the advantage and disadvantage of giving international aid to poor countries.
Although international aid to poor countries is an honorable behavior of a society, some countries are claiming to be donors but basically have the target of getting more and more benefits by offering help. Â Despite that, poor countries will get badly needed aid from external helpers, even if it will backfire and cause a big problem with debts. Another criticism is that donors say one thing but do another one. They are just trying to look like heroes and to develop economic assistance for their businessmen. Â In this report, I will explain why the government of all poor countries should ask for help very carefully, and look at the advantages and disadvantages of foreign help.
Firstly, if a country has asked for help, it means that it is ready to follow international rules and laws. Otherwise the country will not be helped from othersâ and the government knows that. Â As a result the society becomes more civilized. Secondly, poor countries could improve quality of the citizen lives by foreign aid. In addition, this is a good way to get palliation of consequences of humanitarian disasters.
However, critics have a number of concerns about development assistance to developing countries. One of the most important of these is that developed nations use aid as a lever to open poor country markets to their products and the recipient must use overpriced goods and services from donor countries. Also rich countries usually deny market access for poor country products. Â
Another concern is that donors are able to interfere in the internal affairs of the country under the guise of peacekeeping purposes, than are breaking its sovereignty. For example, assassination of Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi was the result of political games of developed countries under the mask of peacekeeping purposes.
In conclusion, international aid to poor countries is a great deal of a society, but usually donor countries are just trying to look like heroes and to develop assistance for their businessmen and political interests. For example, Libya became a poor country with many humanitarian problems after such assistance. The most
important is a mutual aid between nations , however, it may be that recipient will give more issues than it had before the help.
