Destroy the trope that literature over analyses. Can u imagine under analysing? What if the author wrote some incredible joke that everyone laughed at or some meme that existed at that period and now no one laughs at it? HELP ME

Is it just me or is it annoying when a character literally cannot function without this other person. I get being sad and being out of it, but i dont ever think its so bad to the point where u are literally dependent on someone?? I just dont get all round weak characters and why it is romanticised.
