He blinked at the person tapping on the glass. The darkness of the night obscures her facial features, but there's one thing this guy can gauge, even with his... Less than good eyesight.

This person was definitely not human, right? Rrriiigghhhht? Hhhhhahahhhah, he had to calm his nerves before speaking!...

The man cleared his throat before speaking,

"H-Hello to- to you t-too ..."

[Upon peering through the peephole, you see a young woman just outside the door. She smiles widely- unnaturally so almost.]

He loads his gun, positioning it to an easy shot if he has to.

[she leans down for a second, out of his limited view through the peephole. She resurfaces after a second with a mild grin, before turning around and slinking off his porch. She pauses for a moment, craning her neck back in an unsettling fashion.]

— goodbye, now…. Ahh your house reeks of death, by the way. You really should do something about that..

(she hums reaching back over to gently unfold its wing. It’s misshapen and bent at a strange angle. She pushes the wing back to its former folded position)

—…anyways i’d best be on my waay…. Goodbye, then, oh holy one.

(she begins to make her way off the doorstep, before pausing to crane her neck back around to peer at the man in the doorway, warm light flooding out from behind him, leaving only his blackened silhouette visible.)

—ahh…. Your home is smothered by death, by the way. More like me are certain to come, if you don’t do sssomething about it.. attracted like flies to a corpse..
