I made yet another killer concept for Dead By Daylight! This time it's not deltarune related lol. Instead, it's The Lady from Little Nightmares. I changed the way I write these concepts a bit so tell me if this is better or worse. I also didn't add some stuff to this one, that my original two concepts did have, like Prestige Outfits
A secretive Killer, the Lady can use her supernatural abilities to absorb the life of those she encounters and infuse it into others.
The Lady has been in the Maw for a long time. She's learned all sorts of unpleasant things during her residence. It's best that we don't scratch the surface.
SPECIAL ABILITY: SECRETS OF THE MAW
At the beginning of the Trial 4 Wardrobes spawn across the environment.
SPECIAL AFFLICTION: VITALITY
Attacking a healthy survivor using the Basic Attack or using specifc abilities fills up Vitality. Once Vitality is filled up, the Lady enters Hunger.
When entering Hunger, the Ladys cooldowns are reset and 2 Dolls are created automatically. These Dolls do not count towards the maximum number of Dolls allowed at once.
While in this mode, she is granted the following effects:
The Ladys cooldowns are decreased.
Dolls run and attack speed are increased.
The Lady becomes immune to Mirrors.
The Ladys Lullaby becomes louder and does not stop when chasing a Survivor.
Hunger lasts for 40 seconds.
The Auras of Wardrobes are revealed to the Lady at all times and within 12 metres to nearby Survivors.
SPECIAL ABILITY: DARK CREATION
Pressing the Primary Power button switches between Mannequins and Dolls.
Holding the Primary Power button infuses a Doll with darkness. Dolls have 2 modes, Haunting and Orbiting, which can be swapped by pressing the Secondary Power button.
While the Dolls are Orbiting, they will follow the Lady closely, including teleporting with her when using Shade Step. If currently Haunting Dolls are swapped to Orbiting, they will find the fastest way to return to the Lady, including teleporting through Mannequins or Wardrobes.
While the Dolls are Haunting, they will roam the environment freely. Haunting Dolls will use any Mannequins or Wardrobes to teleport to another across the environment.
When a Doll finds a Survivor, they will let out a loud scream, notifying the Lady. After this, they will attack the Survivor with a lunge. If a Doll hits a Survivor, the Survivor is stuck in the air for a few moments, continuously sending a notification to the lady and creating a charge of Vitality. If more than 4 Dolls are in the environment at once, the earliest made one is destroyed.
SPECIAL ABILITY: MANNEQUINS
Holding the Primary Power button allows the Lady to create up to 4 Mannequins in front of her. The Auras of Mannequins are highlighted to the Lady at all times. If more than 4 Mannequins are in the environment at once, the earliest made one is destroyed.
SPECIAL INTERACTION: SHADE STEP
While targeting a Mannequin or Wardrobe, you can teleport to it by pressing the Secondary Power button. After teleporting, the Lady and any currently Orbiting Dolls become Darkened, making them harder to spot as well as turning the Lady Undetectable and removing any Orbiting Dolls sounds. Darkened lasts for 10 seconds. Shade Step has a 30 second cooldown.
Survivors can interact with a Wardrobe to retrieve a Mirror. Each Survivor can only carry 1 Mirror at a time. Using the Mirror points it forwards, allowing it to stun the Lady if pointed at her face, destroy Dolls or break the Lady out of Darkened. Mirrors can be used 3 times before breaking, after which the Survivor can get a new one.
Head Piece – Dark Bun: Long, black hair, partially bound in a large bun.
Body Piece – Brown Kimono : A large, authoritative Kimono.
Weapon Piece – Porcelain Mask: A flawless white mask, used to cover up the Ladys imperfections.
Base Model: Identitical to her original in game apperance. She is constantly holding a small, white mask in her right hand. Her Weapon cosmetic slot actually changes both the mask on her face and on her right hand, even though she does not use this smaller mask as her weapon.
Lullaby: The Lady is constantly humming the “Lure of the Maw” song while not in chase or Darkened.
Basic Attack (Injured): The Lady lowers her right hand, as a black tendril of smog jabs forwards from below the screen. From the survivors perspective, the mask on her face visibly glows for the duration of the animation. If she hits, the smog disappears into the Survivor, while she carefully raises her right hand up again. If she misses, the smog dissipates by falling down to the ground before she quickly raises her right hand up again.
Basic/Lunge Attack (Healthy): Identitical to the Injured Basic/Lunge Attack, except for the hit animation. The black smog returns to the Lady as a shadow appears around the edge of the screen as she raises her right hand up again and lightly taps it with the fingers holding the mask. This shows that Vitality has been gained.
Lunge Attack (Injured): The Lady lowers her right hand as black smog slowly creeps in from the sides of the screen. At the end of the lunge, the smog quickly moves forward in a cylindrical form. From the perspective of the Survivor, the mask on her face slowly becomes brighter as her head slowly rotates to the right. If she hits, the smog disappears into the Survivor, as she raises her right hand again. If she misses, the smog dissipates by falling down to the ground before she quickly raises her right hand up again.
Carry: The Lady quickly flicks her left hand down as she holds strong eye-contact with the survivor and raises them up into the air using black smog. During the carry animation, the Survivor is floating slightly above her shoulder, as dark smog is wrapped around them.
Dark Creation: The Lady moves her left hand over the mask in her right hand in a swift motion, as she swaps between Dolls and Mannequins.
Dolls: The Lady puts her left hand above the small mask in the Ladys right hand, as darkness wraps around it, making its eyes glow. She then carefully lets the mask drop out of her hand as the darkness takes the shape of a small child.
Mannequins: The Lady points the mask in her right hand forward, while the player chooses the position of the Mannequin. When the Mannequins location is chosen, she raises her left hand as dark smog grows around the chosen place. After the Mannequin is created, she puts her hands back down.
