Enchanted Entity

♡ Discovered a new way to render and in my usual fashion I had to redraw Mesmer for my profile to match the new art.

I decided that this character needed to be dolled up a little more, I highly doubt that there'll be anything to change in the future because I really love how they look. The flower petals in the hair were in the first concepts way back so I'm happy I could bring them back. Overall creating a distinct shape for the hair has done this design wonders. Also removing the rope from the amulet allows it to look less like a medal, and you might be wondering how it sticks to their chest magic. No just kidding, I think the material would be some type of foamy substance but think less plastic and more mushroom adjacent. And now you can actually see the antennae, yay!

My DTIYS entry for @lemonpoet (although it's late I had to do it before the motivation left me.) The original piece invoked a sense of joy within me and I'd love to spread more of that.

Updated this old painting of Sepo which is now available as print. I need to get started on his comic expeditiously.

⋆.˚🦋༘⋆ We have to keep going, it feels harder each day and somehow I'm closer to my dreams and yet still so far away. It might all fail but until then I have to keep trying.

I wanted to paint a simple background to serve as an example for my commission sheet, but the more it went along the more I got carried away with details. Making this piece reminded me to take my time with creating and I even enjoyed painting the large firefly. I can't wait to share his story with you, in the meantime you can this lovely scene.
