One of the most popular Youtube users for showing flaws in video games, Crowbcat uploaded his heavily edited and impactful compilation of how Hello Games embarrassed themselves with the release of No Man’s Sky
As explained by the title, TotalBiscuit recently gave his opinion towards the No Man’s Sky debate. Who made things blow out of proportion for Hello Games? The vague and (at times) deceiving developers, the dreaming players, or the hype inducing article writers and publishers?
Although graphical downgrades and false promises should certainly qualify for a form of advertisement to be considered false advertisement, cinematic trailers like these have an understood purpose in the marketing campaign of video games. Are trailers like these deceptive or simply cool to look at?

Watch Dogs was one of the most heated, non-legal cases of false advertisement in recent video game history. In comparison to E3 trailers and earlier builds, the graphical quality of Watch Dogs seemed to downgrade through the years
