I have, quite obviously, sucked at crossposting since moving to Bluesky. The ads here and the way the algorithm has utterly abandoned me does a good job of discouraging scrolling here. I miss y'alls faces but they aren't showing up! It's all pimple games and slave manga ads, wth.

As for me:

The hysterectomy a year and a half ago helped tons. For a while. Then it became clear that the pain from the fibroids et al was hiding MORE issues in that general area.

I'm on a restricted diet because I'm dreadfully reactive to gluten, some spices, onion, sometimes dairy (or is that the constant recalls)... like DAMN it's been a hell year giving up my go-to carbs.

Have you ever TRIED gluten free bread? It's like chewing on a dehydrated sponge. But I've adapted because most wheat and barley products out there turn me into a flaming crippled doom for 48 hours and that sucks more than not having cake and cookies.

...yes, I've periodically tried eating select ones again, and it feels like Regret.

Oddly, some fast food burger buns don't "count" and try to kill me, so I can still have DQ fish sandwiches but not a Wendy's chicken. Still trying to figure out that loophole. Kinda. It hurts like hell when I'm wrong 😅

I'm still working and arting, but I'm in my annual art lull and I'm lucky if I can get 20 hours a week at work between my stomach trying to murder me and respiratory illnesses via The Kindergarten taking me out. Turmeric & ginger tea is saving my ass though, and helps all the other Things That Are Perpetually Wrong.

Unless I add too much ginger. Sigh.

Been doing more costume projects lately and going further with 3D printing. The Teen has gone Theater Crew at school and likes cosplay. Current project is getting his MGSV Venom Snake together for next week, then a rouge & fox fae for Ren Faire in November.

I'm working on hoof and paw boots and fae wings for me... and the shop?
