hey there LGBTQ kids who are also Christian/Jewish! If you feel like you’re disobeying God, questioning your faith, or feel wrong and dirty for loving who you love, there’s this fantastic site I found today called hoperemains that accurately and thoroughly combs through scripture and its (many) mistranslations, validates your orientation, and basically let’s you know that you’re not pissing off God. It’s insanely thorough and after reading through every page on the entire site it’s super helpful. Go check it out!

when u say “it’s not good bi rep if she ends up with a man!” what ur really saying is that our sexuality is determined by the gender of our partner and we only “count” if we’re gay enough to u

the idea that a bi girl ending up with a man could be considered “bad bi rep” or “harmful to bi ppl” is so gross tbh because it completely erases bisexuality in and of itself

it also leads to a lot of bi erasure from both sides of the community bc apparently a bi girl in a m/f relationship is “too straight” to be good rep, but a bi girl in a f/f relationship is fine only bc yall can pretend she’s only attracted to women

and its super frustrating bc like there’s literally NO evidence that supports the supposed “bi girl always ends up with a man” trope. like, NONE. but its still being consistently used to argue the fact that bi girls SHOULD end up with women or else she doesn’t count which is so??? harmful and biphobic??? like get out

also the fact that it erases bi girls who aren’t attracted to women to begin with (but thats a whole different vein of biphobia related to that tbh) or n/b bi ppl etc

and what it comes down to is the fact that yall expect bi girls to act as representation for ALL wlw even though not ALL wlw rep acts as representation for bi girls, but nobody seems to have an issue with that

and don’t even come at me with “heterosexual relationships act as rep for bi ppl in m/f relationships!” bc that’s not true and u know it, and that’s not even the point. the point is that BI rep is for BI ppl. bi girls deserve to see themselves represented in more than just one form, bc WE ARE ATTRACTED TO MORE THAN ONE GENDER

bi ace girls deserve to see themselves represented, intersex bi girls deserve to see themselves represented, trans bi girls deserve to see themselves represented, n/b bi ppl deserve to see themselves represented, bi girls who aren’t wlw deserve to see themselves represented, etc

claiming that bi girls can only be considered good rep if they end up with another girl, is SUPER BIPHOBIC idk how that isn’t clear
