               ❛❛       well  i  hope  not  ,  i  wasn’t  in  the  top  .03%  of  elton  john’s  listeners  for  nothing.  i  gotta  lot  of  space  travel  put  into  those  albums.     ❜❜

                ❛❛       flattered  to  know  i  have  such  an  affect  on  you  ,  wanda.  okay  ,  now  that  we’ve  both  got  it  out  of  the  way  that  we’re  rude  ,  you  mind  telling  me  about  how  a  bunch  of  powered  people  got  transported  into  your  world  ?  if  not  ,  maybe  you  could  at  least  point  me  in  the  direction  of  someone  who  does  know.  ya’  know  since  you’re  not  an  avenger.      ❜❜

               the  stranger  brushes  the  situation  off  with  a  laugh  and  presses  a  dollar  into  carol’s  pocket.  strolling  off  with  nothing  more  than  a  lousy  apology  and  a  stiffed  wave.  hal  was  nothing  but  a  bystander  ,  onlooking  the  new  york  hospitality  before  glancing  down  to  carol.     ❝     you  wanna  kick  that  guy’s  ass  ,  don’t  you  ?     ❞     ex-lantern  can  practically  feel  the  heat  coming  from  carol’s  body  ,  though  he  was  used  to  woman’s  WRATH.  figured  it  was  probably  best  for  the  stranger  to  get  out  while  they  could.     ❝     c’mon  ,  let’s  get  you  cleaned  up.     ❞

               ❝     you  look  like  you  were  pulled  out  of  a  cartoon  ,  man.     ❞

               ❝     beast  boy,     ❞     hal  is  left  feeling  conflicted  when  it  comes  to  his  ring  ,  if  anything  --  the  corps  would  come  in  more  handy  than  first  prompted.  power  striped  and  source  taken  ,  hal  was  feeling  naked  long  before  dropping  through  a  portal.      ❝     most  definitely.  i  have  to  say  .  .  .  a  machine  gun  dinosaur  does  sound  pretty  sweet.  heh  ,  i  can’t  believe  i  never  thought  of  that.     ❞
