Group BTS is spreading their good influence to the world.

On November 1st, The Korean Committee for UNICEF held a press conference to introduce a new form of project ‘LOVE MYSELF’ in collaboration with BTS and their agency Big Hit Entertainment. 

UNICEF shared their purpose, “BTS has shared the worries of the youth in their 10s, 20s and has grown as artists with global influence. With this collaboration as the start, we aim to transcend music and share a stronger vision to project the children from various kinds of violence in our society and lead the youth to positive changes.”

Big Hit Entertainment’s CEO Bang Shihyuk explained, “It’s even more meaningful that we got to work together with UNICEF for the first step of ‘LOVE MYSELF’ campaign” and “With this campaign, BTS, who has been questioning the meaning of real love from debut, plans to send the message of emphasizing the importance of self-love to the young generation who are suffering and cowering because of the lost of faith in themselves.”

BTS and Big Hit have established the ‘LOVE MYSELF’ fund and donated 500 million won ($447,420) to The Korean Committee for UNICEF in November, and will be supporting UNICEF’s ‘#ENDviolence’ campaign over the next 2 years with a fund raised from 3% of the income from the physical sales of ‘LOVE MYSELF’ series, all income from the sales of official campaign goods and regular donations.
