I had the most incredible day of my life yesterday. I have never truly been happier than I was the moments I laid my eyes on him.
There is a long story I would be happy to tell someday, but long story short, as soon as I got inside and redeemed my autograph I was let in first due to my disabilities. They had a Christopher Robin photo (my favorite movie ever) and getting him to sign it was a dream. I gave him a bracelet I had made that Hayden would be given a matching one of, and he said it was brilliant! I was so happy and he wished me well as I left. I think my pure excitement startled him a bit, but it was still magical.
Later I got my photo op with him and Hayden..and I got my hug. I hugged him so tight, it was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I didn’t get a chance to talk to Hayden, but he was super nice to my girlfriend and our photo turned out amazing!!
Now for the best part. I was sitting with my girlfriend, waiting for her Hayden autograph. Now, I have functional dyspepsia, and I was feeling very ill while sitting. Then, suddenly, Ewan walked out of the back and I squealed seeing him. And then I didn’t feel sick anymore. It was insane and a surreal experience.
And then there was the panel. An hour and 15 minute of pure joy and happiness seeing my Ewan talk in front of me about his life and his craft. He was so funny, he even got on the floor at one point 😭 it was incredible I love him so much. (I was also part of the tribute video at the beginning!! And he looked at me and smiled :)))
Overall, I had the most magical day, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I hope I meet him again one day, but for now, my heart will echo his name until I see him again 🤍
