My hourglass is frozen in time. Each grain I maintain is but another fleeting moment in eternity in which my sands are suspended for you. You’ll move on and forget me but I’d wait an eternity if it meant I could be in your grace once more. In my dreams you hold me in your hands, as I awake you become the wind. Your new form, my zephyr, is far outside my reach. I am but a castle awaiting your return, my queen, and I’m trying not to crush into sand.

Show me the jagged cracks hidden in your shadow. What nightmares still sting your eyes? I want to kiss the whispers of past wounds that echo in your bones. Let’s strip bare and raw to the pulsing mess of our being and lay it on the altar of trust, eyes closed, hearts trembling.

You still cross my mind every now and again. Time seems to move so slow these days as if there aren’t enough labrynth’s in this maze. Time, old friend, let’s bend the rules once more just so I can explore her depths.

I'll patiently endure the distance that separates us until fate guides us back to the sanctuary where we were spellbound by each other's embrace.

I feel the space and time between us.
