Hi! I’m Emma, I go by she/her pronouns. I’m currently obsessed with Tokyo Debunker, Twisted Wonderland, The Freak Circus, and Jujutsu Kaisen. And I will most definitely take recs for other games. My fav houses from tkdb are Sinostra, Hotarubi, and Vagastorm. With Leo, Shion, Yuri, Ren and Taiga being my fav ghouls. And from twst, my fav dorms are Ignihyde, Pomefiore, and Octanivelle. Requests for tkbd are up to 6 ghouls or 2 houses. But if you like something, feel free to ask for a part two!

I’d say requests for twst are 4 characters or one dorms. But like if you want to request the ob boys then that’s okay too (or like housewardens/vice housewardens/etc) it’d just take me a long while to write lol

For jjk a max of 3 characters. Don’t ask why idk but if I feel like I’m getting better at writing for this fandom then maybe I’ll increase it.

PLEASE be specific to what you want (ex: separate fic, my personal thoughts, oneshots, mini fics, smaus, etc)

The relationship between the character and MC will be defaulted to a romantic relationship so let me know if you want it to be platonic or smth (unless it’s a character like Ortho or Grim. Those will ALWAYS be platonic)!!

Haru was having a perfectly normal day, which for him meant he was simultaneously answering three messages, checking the Jabberwock tour schedule, making a list of supplies they needed for the anomalies, and trying to calculate how much money they could make if they increased the price of the souvenir packages by just a little without scaring away potential visitors.

You had long since accepted that dating Haru meant occasionally competing with an entire house full of anomalies for his attention.

Today, however, you had decided to make yourself his only problem.

You sat beside him while he scribbled numbers across a notebook, his brow furrowed in concentration.

"Haru?"

"Mm?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

He didn't look up.

"Would you rather kiss me for ten dollars, or kiss the prettiest girl in the world for ten million dollars?"

Haru answered immediately.

"The prettiest girl in the world."

You stared at him.

He kept writing.

In fact, he seemed so certain of his answer that you almost wondered if he'd misunderstood the question.

"The ten million would be enough to cover the repair costs for the eastern enclosure, and we'd finally be able to replace some of the equipment we've been putting off. I could probably pay down a good chunk of what Jabberwock owes, too. Actually, if we invested some of it into the tour, we could probably increase our profits enough that we'd be in a much better position next year, and then—"

He stopped, finding the fact you hadn’t interrupted him yet weird. Slowly, he looked up. You were staring at him.

"...What?"

"So I'm not the prettiest girl in the world?"

Haru's expression changed instantly. "Oh." His face went blank. "...Oh, no."

You folded your arms.

"No, go ahead."

"Wait."

"You already answered."

"I know."

"You chose another girl."

"I know."

"For ten million dollars."

"I know." He put the notebook down. "Okay, listen."

"I'm listening."

"I was thinking about the money."

"I noticed."

"No, but you don't understand."

"I think I understand perfectly."

"That money would fix everything." He was gesturing now, increasingly frantic as he tried to explain himself. "Do you know how much it costs to maintain Jabberwock? Do you know how much food some of the anomalies go through? And then there's repairs, equipment, transportation, the tour expenses, the permits, the boat—"

"Haru."

"And if we had ten million dollars, I could finally stop worrying about whether we're going to have enough to cover everything next month."

"Haru."

"I could replace the old containment systems, get better medical supplies, renovate some of the rooms, and maybe even—"

"Sagara."

He finally stopped.

You looked at him.

He looked at you.

"...I'm making this worse, aren't I?"

"Considerably."

He dropped his head into his hands.

"God, I'm an idiot."

You tried to keep your expression stern, but the way he looked genuinely devastated was making it increasingly difficult.

Haru peeked at you through his fingers.

"You know you're pretty, right?"

You raised an eyebrow.

"That's not the same thing."

"I know."

"Apparently there's a girl prettier than me."

"There isn't!"

"You literally chose her."

"Because she comes with ten million dollars!"

"That makes it worse!"

"I know!" He looked genuinely horrified at his own reasoning. "I panicked."

"You didn't panic."

"I absolutely panicked."

"You answered in less than a second."

"Exactly! I panicked efficiently."

You couldn't help it.

A laugh escaped.

Haru immediately pointed at you.

"See? You're laughing."

"Because you're ridiculous."

"I thought I was about to get dumped."

"You thought correctly."

His face fell.

"Please don't."

You smiled despite yourself, and Haru immediately scooted closer.

"I'm sorry."

"You should be."

"I am."

"Very?"

"Extremely."

"How extremely?"

"Extremely enough that I'm reconsidering whether ten million dollars is worth sleeping on the couch tonight."

"You don't have a couch."

"I'll build one."

"You'd spend the money on a couch?"

"No! I don't have ten million dollars!"

You laughed again. He sighed in relief.

"Okay. Good. You're laughing."

"You're lucky you're cute."

His eyes widened.

"Wait."

"What?"

"Did you just say I'm cute?"

"Maybe."

"Can we go back to that part?"

"No."

"You called me cute."

"Don't get excited."

"I am absolutely getting excited." He grinned, the crisis apparently forgotten for approximately three seconds before his expression became serious again. "Actually..." He reached over and gently took your hand. "If you asked me that question again..."

You waited.

"I'd choose you."

"Even for ten dollars?"

"Even for ten dollars."

"And the ten million?"

He thought about it.

You narrowed your eyes.

"Haru."

"No, no, I'm thinking."

"That's dangerous."

"I know." He smiled. "I'd still choose you."

Your expression softened.

"Really?"

"Really." He squeezed your hand. "Jabberwock matters to me. The anomalies matter to me. The money would help more than I can even explain."

"I know."

"But..." He looked at you, grey eyes meeting yours. "...I don't want to trade you for any amount of money."

Your heart melted.

"You'd better not."

"I wouldn't."

"Even if it was a hundred million?"

He hesitated.

You gasped.

"Haru!"

"No! I was thinking!"

"You hesitated!"

"A hundred million is a lot of money!"

"Haru!"

"I'm kidding!" He laughed, quickly wrapping an arm around you before you could shove him away. "You're my girlfriend. You're not for sale."

"Good."

"And you're definitely the prettiest girl in the world."

"Definitely?"

"Definitely."

"You sound suspiciously confident now."

"I've learned my lesson."

"Have you?"

"Yes." He leaned closer, smiling. "Besides..." He glanced around before lowering his voice conspiratorially. "If you were the prettiest girl in the world, I'd get to kiss you and keep the ten million dollars."

You blinked.

"...What?"

"Because I'm obviously marrying the prettiest girl in the world."

Your face went warm.

"Haru!"

"What?"

"You can't just say things like that!"

"Why not?"

"Because!"

He laughed, completely pleased with himself now that he'd successfully recovered from the disaster he'd created.

"You started this."

"I was trying to ragebait you!"

"And you succeeded."

"I did!"

"Completely." He sighed dramatically. "Ten minutes ago I was figuring out how to pay for Jabberwock's repairs."

"And now?"

"Now I'm calculating how much I'd have to spend on flowers if I wanted to make up for nearly getting myself killed."

You laughed.

"You're ridiculous."

"Maybe." He rested his forehead gently against yours. "And you're still the prettiest girl in the world." A pause. "...Even without the ten million."

You smiled.

"Good answer."

"Can we agree never to play this game again?"

"No."

"...Why?"

"Because now I know it works."

"Oh, no."

You grinned.

Haru pulled away, pointing an accusing finger at you.

"You're going to keep doing this."

"Maybe."

"You're evil."

"I'm your girlfriend."

"Those aren't mutually exclusive."

You laughed, and Haru couldn't help smiling along with you.

He'd probably never admit it, but somewhere in the back of his mind, he was already wondering how much ten million dollars could actually fix at Jabberwock.

But then he looked at you.

And decided, for once, there were some things worth more than money.
