笑鈴 is the kanji i chose for how my jp speaking friends call me

it sounds similar to my native first name with a japanese accent to it

and i don’t mind it being a bit different

it actually makes me recall fun memories of my adventures in 🇯🇵 and makes me remember how culturally different it is from where i was born and raised

of course, it wasn’t all rainbows and unicorns, but my personal struggles as a foreigner when i stayed there brought out my smile more when i returned to my home country

that is why i am 笑鈴

i smile through it all; make me laugh and my laughter will tinkle like a cat’s bell 🐾✨

i am an educator and i learned it in a teaching course

it’s the alignment of your beliefs, lesson plan and classroom activities - and i think that’s wonderful!

eudaimonic alignment

i coined it from the ancient greek philosophy concept called “eudaimonia” that tackles human flourishing which is fulfilled by living in accordance to one’s virtues
