Oh heavens yes haha! Starting to build my own family is something I hope to achieve in the next five years or so :)

In New Zealand, midwives are the primary maternity providers. We care for women antenatally, so check the health of the woman each few weeks, annd the growth and position of the baby. If she requires scans or abnormal obstetric care we refer her for those services.We deliver babies normally and assist obstetricians in abnormal, complicated deliveries.We care for women and their babies for six weeks after birth. We visit them every week at home and check the growth of the baby etc.To answer your question from my heart though anon, we work side by side women in the biggest transition of their lives and watch couples become families every single day. Its a blessing and a privellidge ♡.
