This is actually a really good project. I remember my first period was horrible. I was so ashamed and scared that I didn’t tell anyone. I spent 4 days bleeding and crying because I couldn’t stand the idea of it. I felt gross and horrid and I was shunned by my father when I finally got the nerve to ask him for pads because I had blood on all my panties and I remember crying because Noone told me how expensive they were and how low wage workers can’t always afford them. Teaching girls to talk about it freely and to continue to feel okay or like a child or whatever afterwards is amazing. And everyone should support this.
