emerson’s lips pursed at the interference. they continued moving closer to the man though, eventually setting her hand on his bicep. he could do for now. “are at all shocked that arnauld has neglected offspring? he’s bound to have a handful with how many often he arrives with a new date” the french king was fascinating in the most annoying way. “besides, what if i want to fuck both of you?” @vndrcs​

“So sweet.” Their hands folded over their heart as they stepped closer to the regent. Others were tailing the Russian and French monarchs, Andrés seemed to have managed an escape. “Nearly, yes.” Sixty seconds of small talk was all she needed. “I hear the fireworks are spectacular, you’re not going to witness them alone, are you?”

“Emerson then” he replied. He waited a beat longer with his hand outstretched. Shrugged when nothing happened and winked at them. “Alright if the children lose it’s on you” he rolled the die watching them roll for a second before getting a five. He made a face and pushed a few more chips over. “Alright again-” He lifted a brow at her pretending to think about it for a second “All casino games are luck. And I’m more lucky than good at cards.”

“If she won’t do it, allow me then. Whatever you end up winning really better go to a good cause.” She leaned forward to give the dice a blow right before he could throw it on the table for a second time. Her attention diverted to the brunette afterwards. “I personally find the game exciting because of how much luck you need for it but then again, a casino isn’t a place I frequent. What about you? “It would be nice to have a legit new year’s kiss for once. i’m tired of kissing my friends on the cheek. i want passion, i want the butterflies, i want literally anyone to notice i’m not just annoying… that i have a pretty face.” it was likely the champagne talking but gwen had stopped giving a fuck three glasses ago and would babble to anyone around her.

“emerson.” they shuddered at gorgeous, especially coming from someone they didn’t know. eventually, she’d know who they were, their respective country, and exactly how important they truly were in the grand scheme of things. for now, though, emerson observed the feeble attempt at charity. “you could at least try to come up with a name for your, ahem, children’s hospital. dice games are luck anyhow. if you really wanted to win money, you’d try your hand at blackjack or poker.”

emerson whitmore, ceo of dataminr and first daughter of the united states surprised us with their appearance this evening. having spent the past few weeks in the homebase they call silicon valley, we weren’t sure if the trailblazer would have time for a little ol’ party such as this! 

their ensemble is from alexander mcqueen’s pre-spring/summer 2022 collection, and it is a fun twist on the standard suit we typically see emerson in. turning a new leaf perhaps? they top off the outfit with a pair of louboutin slings, all black, of course, minimal makeup and jewelry from their personal collection.
