It had been quite the week already. With the fiasco at the bar the odd hours that followed became a whirlwind of tears from a particularly devastated little brunette. Emmett picked Aven up from from Feyres apartment once the smaller woman had fallen asleep. Avens rage was palpable even as she sank heavily into the car. The blondes brows bowed as he looked her over, a comforting hand resting against her far shoulder to give it a gentle but reassuring squeeze. "Come here." He murmured, Pulling her to lean her head against his arm as he pulled away from the curb. It wasn't long before he could hear her soft breaths puffing against his arm, the sound pressing a small smile from him. He pulled up to her home, putting the car in park and turning off the engine and allowing the silence to fill the cab. Allowing him to breath in the quiet and relax into her as she snoozed against him. She was lovely. A lovely friend. A lovely writer. . .
