Basically they look like a really rough, jumbled up messes lol.
This was more or less the start of my most recently posted sketch. I usually find references and then begin blocking in shapes or just scribbling what I see. Then I just start cleaning it up while adjusting anything that I think needs it—like the head size!
That’s a very basic summary, but yeah, references and more references are how I go from that to a somewhat finished piece!

I love the headcannon where Rumi gets big as fuck post canon, so I drew something based off a tweet I saw.
I had bug autism until I was bullied for showing off some cicada shells, everyone was so hard on me over my mistake that it took less than a day for me to totally break. It's nice to see Rumi being appreciated for it. Your art really made the memories less painful <3
